Summer Fish Finder Activity For those of you who participated in the past, the basic premise is the same for 2022. Each participating business will receive a fish to name and hang wherever you choose. The promotion runs from the first Music on the River in June (17th) to the last in August (19 th). Participants will receive a worksheet to complete by filling in the name of each business’ fish, then turn it in to one of the designated locations for entry into the prize drawings.

The level of your participation is entirely up to you. On the attached page we’ve listed a few ideas on how to step up your game and make the visit to your business more memorable. If you do not want traffic in your business, you have the option to hang your fish in a front window or somewhere else where people can simply note the fish’s name and move on to the next stop. In the past, the participation has been greater from tourists rather than from residents, so, this is a great opportunity for us to draw more traffic to town and directly to your business.

This year we’ll introduce a bonus game as well. We’re building a large fish that can be moved around town for people to get their picture taken with, log where they saw him and get entered into a separate drawing. This will give us the opportunity to include our parks, hiking trails, etc. where guests can picnic and relax with the family while visiting. If you’d like to host the fish at your business, please let us know.
