Lightly traveled Polk County Road S forms a loop off WI-35 between Osceola and St. Croix Falls. A 4.3 mile long paved road features oak, cedar and pine trees, a trout stream, rock outcroppings and a variety of wildlife as it parallels the St. Croix River. If you would like to take a hike, the Ridgeview Trailheads are adjacent to the roads.
Route 103

Head onto Ridge Road for 8 miles. This winding route through farm country leads to the historic Somerset Landing which features a boat launch to the river and picnic area. Sandstone bluff outcroppings, tree canopies, prairie and farmland add to the views. In spring, many woodland wildflowers are blooming.
