The Journey and Purpose on Earth of Retired Superintendent and Attorney At Law Allan

EzekielEMMANUEL

A TIME TOLive:

On a beautiful spring day, in the settlement of Salina Point on Acklins Island, a handsome bouncing baby boy was born to the proud parents of Hubert and Ives Emmanuel (both deceased). With excitement, they named their son Allan Ezekiel Emmanuel. Allan was a quiet child who loved to learn. He attended the Salina Point All-Age School where he dreamt of becoming an officer for his country. At the age of 18, Allan joined The Royal Bahamas Police Force. In 1977, he began his career for his country at the Central Police Station and in 1978 deployed to Grand Bahama. In 1981, Allan returned to New Providence working at the Southern and Central Divisions. In 1982 he joined the Strike Force, Drug Enforcement team where he developed many of his lasting relationships. Allan spent two years at the Police College in New Providence, later receiving a diploma in Narcotics Investigation, USA Drug Enforcement Agency. Then in 1990, Allan jumped into the role as a prosecutor for the police. For five years, Allan was being molded for a future position as an attorney. He continued his career as an officer, climbing the ranks and loving every moment of it. Along the way in 1997, Allan received his Associate of Arts Degree in Law and Criminal Justice at the College of The Bahamas then his Bachelor of Law from the University of the West Indies Cave Hill, Barbados in 2004. Allan was a go-getter. In 2006, he received his Legal Education Certificate from Eugene Dupuch Law School and was later admitted, sworn and enrolled as a Counsel and Attorney of the Supreme Court of The Bahamas by Chief Justice Hon. Burton Hall. With his accomplishments over the years, he was making his family very proud.
Through his many accomplishments, Allan never did it alone. In 1983, he had his first bundle of joy, who was named Perdetta. Just a few years later, on November 30th, 1985, Allan married his wife Sandra. They both worked hand in hand ensuring they both accomplished their goals. Every idea Allan had and every goal he wanted to reach, Sandra supported and pushed him with encouraging words. They had three children together, Allancia, Allan Jr. and Alvon. Through the many years of deployment and education, Allan always had the support of his family. Allan’s mother (deceased), siblings and extended family were great encouragement, the betterment of his hometown was his drive and the love for his family always came first.

OPENING HYMN ......................................................................................................... “ To God Be The Glory”
To God be the glory, great things He hath done, So loved He the world that He gave us His Son, Who yielded His life our redemption to win, And opened the life-gate that all may go in.
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, Let the earth hear His voice; Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, Let the people rejoice;
Oh, come to the Father, through Jesus the Son, And give Him the glory; great things He hath done.
Oh, perfect redemption, the purchase of blood, To every believer the promise of God; The vilest offender who truly believes, That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.
Great things He hath taught us, great things He hath done, And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son; But purer, and higher, and greater will be Our wonder, our transport when Jesus we see.

CONGREGATIONAL HYMN .................................................................................................. “I’ll Fly Away”

Some glad morning when this life is o’er, I’ll fly away;
To a home on God’s celestial shore, I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away).
I’ll fly away, Oh Glory I’ll fly away; (in the morning) When I die, Hallelujah, by and by, I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away).
When the shadows of this life have gone, I’ll fly away; Like a bird from prison bars has flown, I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away)
Just a few more weary days and then, I’ll fly away; To a land where joy shall never end, I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away)

RECESSIONAL HYMN ............................................................................................................... “City of Gold”
There’s a city of light Where there cometh no night, ‘Tis a city of beauty untold; All my treasures are there And its beauty I’ll share, When I get to that city of gold.
When I leave all trouble and care, I will say good morning up there; I will have great gladness untold, When I get to that city of gold.
There’s no sorrow up there In that city so fair And no sickness can enter I’m told; Shadows all will have flown, I will meet friends I’ve known, When we get to that city of gold.
Won’t you go there with me to the home of the free, Would you see heaven’s beauty unfold? If you will come along, we will sing heaven’s song, When we get to that city of gold.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE
OPENING HYMN ...................................................................................................................“It’s Alright Now”
There was a time I traveled a lonely sinful road, Beneath a heavy burden bending low; But now all things are diff’rent, for Jesus took my load, It’s alright now, I’m His I know.
It’s alright now, for I am in my Savior’s care, It’s alright now, my Savior hears and answers prayer; He’ll walk beside me, ‘til I climb the heav’nly stair, And ev’rything is alright now
A-down a lonely pathway without a friend to guide, I walked in sin and sorrow all alone; ‘Til Jesus came and found me, and drew me to His side It’s alright now, for I’m His own.

No more in sin I wander, no more in darkness roam, The Lord has placed my feet on higher ground; Each day new heights I’m gaining, my soul is nearing home, It’s alright now, I’m heaven bound. PRAYER ....................................................................................................................................................... Minister
REFLECTION AND COMMITTAL ...... Bishop Leroy Emmanuel, Sr. Pastor, Good Samaritan Kingdom Ministries
CLOSING HYMN ....................................................................................“When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder” When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound, And time shall be no more, And the morning breaks eternal, bright and fair; When the saved of earth shall Gather over on the other shore, And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.
When the roll is called up yonder, When the roll is called up yonder, When the roll is called up yonder, When the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.
On that bright and cloudless morning
When the dead in Christ shall rise, And the glory of his resurrection share; When his chosen ones shall gather To their home beyond the skies, And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.
Let us labor for the Master from the dawn till setting sun; Let us talk of all His wondrous love and care; Then when all of life is over and our work on earth is done, And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.
THE WORLD’S BEST Dad
My daddy taught me many good things in life, but the most outstanding one is about the true measure of a man. The true measure was how well he loved and provided for the family.
Daddy you meant so much to me. I would give anything to have you back with me. Dad, I love you so much. You’re the best dad in the world. Daddy I am missing you every second.

MY FOREVER LOVE NOTE to My Daddy…

There is none like you! My heart is shattered in pieces. I was in complete denial that you had left me here without saying goodbye. As I look back at our last text, the last time we talked, I tell myself this has to be a bad dream that no one is waking us up from. I can’t imagine what it will be like to live my life with you not here cheering me along. For the very first time in my life, I can’t see your smile, smell your cologne, hear your bunch of keys, and most importantly hearing your voice Saying “Catch me after the news” or calling me “Baby girl”. Being your first born was easy, loving you was fulfilling. We made a promise to call each other no less than twice a week, Daddy you would say no text we must call, but somehow you always beat me to it. “Baby girl,” you would say, “you said you will do better.” My response was always “Daddy, you always wake up earlier than me” You will always respond “Baby girl you trying to sleep the day away?” (keep in mind it’s only 7.30am) I don’t know how to tell you goodbye. I can simply promise you with tears in my eyes, pain in my heart that you will forever be my hero, my daddy, I will forever carry you in my heart safely tucked away with all our precious memories. I will never forget our conversations, jokes, your many advices, your warm hug and your forehead kisses. No one but you know how I love you and appreciate everything you have done for me. I knew you loved me unconditionally. We never end our conversations without expressing our love for each other. I remember my aunties always saying, only DeeDee have daddy. Yes! Only I had this amazing person I call “ My Daddy”. You were an amazing father to me, my provider, protector, awesome grandfather to Janero & J’Ynae. They love their “Pappy”. This is going to be the hardest walk I would have to take without you by my side, being a phone call away, not getting my morning call and hearing you say you love me. But just for you I will try to find comfort in knowing you are in a better place and you are not here in body but you will forever live in my heart. I Love you daddy, until we meet again My forever daddy, your forever “Baby girl”
WHEN I THINK OF MY blessings, I have always thanked God for you. Every memory I have, you were always a part of it. I can remember you taking me to kindergarten, watching me sports day, picking me up from school, taking me off to college and walking down the aisle on my wedding day. I know God has plans for me, but what kind of plans will it be without you? My entire life, all I wanted to do was please you. Show you how much I appreciated everything you have done for me. Now, I feel as though I didn’t do all I wanted for you. Daddy, life will never be the same without you. But, your daily lessons about morals, loving my family, educating myself and working for what I want will never depart me.
When God named kings, I am sure he named you one. You were a man of exceptional character; grace, compassion, humility, disciple, strong will and intellect. As I groom my children, the blueprint that you have used for me is what I will use for them. Rowdy man, I love you with ALL of my heart and I will always make you proud because you are my daddy and you raised me. I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU.
Your daughter and rowdy woman

You were indeed a great man and we will continue to carry the beautiful memories of you in our hearts. We love you unc, but God loves you best.

W. Tyrone Rigby.TO OUR Pappy
This disheartened us that we have to write this, but we know that you were a great grandfather to us. Pappy, You always spoke highly about your family, especially us, your grandchildren. It broke our hearts to lose you knowing you did not leave without saying goodbye. On June 11th God called you home. And you quietly left us peaceful, but leaving memories you shared with only us. Although you are not here with us, your memories will be with us for a lifetime. You will always be in our hearts and guiding our footsteps. You had a kind loving soul, you love all of your grandchildren and we love you more. Pappy nobody could ever replace you. You always had encouraging words whenever you came to see us. You would always ask us about our school achievements. Pushing us to make positive decisions, set goals, to keep focus and to put God first and foremost in all things. You worked hard to provide for your family. No one loves their grandchildren more than you do. Our family chain is broken & nothing seems the same. But as God calls us one by one the chain will link again. We will see you again Pappy. Your legacy must go on.
We Love you Pappy, Until we meet again. Your grandchildren
A TRIBUTE TO MY FRIEND, THE LATE ALLAN ‘MANNY’ EMMANUEL
The clock of life is wound but once and no man has the power to tell just where the hand will stop, at late or early hour; now is the only time you own! Live, love, toil with a will, place no faith in tomorrow, for the clock may just be still; your clock stops on the night of Thursday, June 2021. Allan you will be missed, because your seat will be empty. Empty chair in my dining room where you sat when we have our social stewed fish and yellow grits, when you would have said “well you know I like my fish head”, empty chair at your office, empty seat at your church. You will be missed Manny, because your tongue will be silenced; I have been blessed many times by your wise considerate helpful tongue. It gave direction and encouragement. You will be missed because your ears will be deaf. I shall miss those ears into which I have poured my troubles. Everybody needs someone in whom they can confide; it means much just to have worked that others could have, but I say to you the bereaved family, that Death is not a period that ends the great sentence of life, but a coma that punctuates it to more lofty significance; death is not a blind alley that leads man into life eternal. Remember, poor men die, rich men die, Kings die, Queens die, death comes to the innocent and it comes to the guilty; sleep on my friend, may the host of heavenly angels take thee to thy eternal rest.
Your friend,
Victor “Sir Vic” BrownTO MY ONE & ONLY God-Father
Broad in stature, a quiet demeanor with a presence that demanded the attention and respect of any room you entered. Though short on words during a basic conversation, you could have easily transitioned into a long winded lecture attached with a valuable lesson. This was the makeup of my one and only God-Father, Allan Emmanuel. It hurts me to write this tribute knowing that you are unable to know how much I appreciated you. I was shocked and saddened to learn about your passing, to know that the only Godfather that I have known is no longer here. I will forever remember as a child, begging my mom to go home with you so that I could have played with Lincey and A.J. after church. Each time I asked, you always said yes. Though we never spoke or saw each other every day, each time we met it was as if we did. You were always interested in knowing what was happening in my life while adding your five cents. You were a motivator, and a stickler for education and I am grateful that God placed you in my life. When I think of you, I use the following acronym:
A - Availability, during the years that I have known you, you always made yourself available to support, defend or provide assistance to those that needed you. It didn’t matter the time of day, you were always just a call away (The Family Lawyer)
L- Loving, the love for your family was unconditional and immeasurable. You ALWAYS put their best interest first and worked hard to ensure that your children had the best of everything
L- Loyal and Luminous, your loyalty was unwavering and devoted to both home and work; your personality was luminous, you displayed positivity everywhere you went
A - Accepting, you accepted people for who they are. You were nonjudgmental and believed that there was good in everyone
N- Noble, the word itself defines who you were.
Thank you for always being there when you were needed the most.

Love Your God-Child Trenda
A TRIBUTE TO MY DEAR FRIEND “ALLAN EMMANUEL”
My heart will not be filled with pain and sorrow, But I will remember you Allan in every tomorrow. I will remember your work ethics, all the joy, the laughter and the smiles, I know you had to go and rest a little while. Look down on us from heaven, Keep us free from hurt and pain, You'll always be within my heart, Until we meet again.
Allan I will dry my eyes and remember you, not as you are now, but as you used to be, A man with a spirit so compassionate, fulfilled and free, I bid you goodbye, goodbye, goodbye.
Take your rest my dear Friend, you will forever live on in my memories
