Canvas Mandala Art Tutorial
1. Pick a Colour Palette

Choose your mandala colors (teal green, orange, yellow, bring pink, golden). The smooth, matte surface of chalk paints works well on the flowery Mandala base. While creating the Mandala art, consider a palette to match traditional designs and embrace the gentle pastels for a calm look. Al`so, it complements the bright colors for dynamic effects.
2. Prepare Mandala Base

Apply the base coat of white chalk paint. Any additional primer is not required for chalk paint but if you are working with acrylic colors, you can apply Gesso primer. This will make later colors more firm and durable. Let the base coat dry before continuing.
3. Paint the Base
Start painting the Mandala art on Canvas board with selected colors. Start with a center circle, then use round brushes for petals and detail areas.
4. Fevicryl Mouldit Clay
After the base paint dries, add three-dimensional elements with Fevicryl Mouldit clay. Mix resin and hardener equally and knead the clay until it's soft and flexible. Then roll it into thin strands for the outline.
Fix the coils with glue and gently press them onto your painted Canvas base. Also, add the visible details using different clay engraving tools. Completely dry the clay before continuing.
5. Paint Clay Elements
Use chalk paints to highlight the clay. This unifies your Mandala art board and adds an embossing layer. Use a fine brush with golden paint for precision when dealing with little or detailed clay items.
