“CJ” Wimberly
Christopher A. Wimberly, Jr. is a scholar, gifted musician and servant of Christ. Born February 7, 2011, Christopher, affectionately called “CJ,” is the son of Pastor Christopher A. and First Lady Felicia Wimberly. He serves under the direction of his father at the Hunter Hill First Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia.
Christopher accepted salvation and was baptized at the age of ten. He began showing signs of his calling at a young age, often “preaching” at home and traveling with his dad to revivals and engagements. He developed a love for God’s Word and a passion for God’s people. He is a talented musician on both the drums and the keyboard and has often lent his musical talent to the church. While Christopher possesses a great love for music, he could not deny his call into the ministry and accepted the call to preach at the young age of thirteen. Since that time, Christopher has preached at various Youth Day services and other worship services across the state of Georgia, and even across the country.
Christopher is a ninth grader at Greater Atlanta Christian School, where he excels in both academics and extracurricular activities. He resides in Gwinnett County with his parents and sister, Jahri.
Upon graduation from high school, Christopher has set his sights upon entering Morehouse College, where he will further his knowledge in Religious Studies.
Christopher enjoys singing, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and working alongside his father in the family business, Wimberly Funeral Home.
Christopher A. Wimberly, Jr. is a young Jeremiah, understanding that before he was formed in his mother’s womb, the Lord knew him. He is humbled to fulfill the call on his life: ministering to the lost and spreading the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
