The magic of the catwalks. Palais de Tokyo. Paris. 11 am. Where only certain "chosen pieces" leave their hangers to be worn in a setting where every detail evokes the symbols of devotion to the Massimo Dutti cult of elegance. Space and light combine to create an intimate atmosphere that soothes the soul and takes us faraway, to a different setting, a different sense of the world. A sense of infinite exclusivity. Spontaneous shows of admiration from an audience devoted to the culture of the sublime and the desire to possess what they love. They picture themselves with this suit, as if it has been designed for them. A desire to join an exclusive world. Boys. The audience. Absolute rulers of harmony, good taste and loyalty to the new mantra that crowns fashion today: see-now-buy-now.

The new Massimo Dutti Spring/ Summer collection presented at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris revealed a look that makes a connection between minimalism and what is native, unique to the setting that serves as the background and heart of the campaign: a city in the middle of an arid and inhospitable desert. Intellectuality and fashion blend together in this space in which each image is delicately in step with a polyphonic sequence of local voices with never-before-heard narrations about their adopted home or place of origin. The organisation of this event represents another step on the path set by the brand, a path that includes the organisation of fashion shows, always standing out for their creativity and use of the latest technology. All the project was based on a carefully defined art concept that represented the physical space conceived as a great inhospitable and remote place loaded with symbolism. With the catwalk as the luxurious setting and the city of Paris as a witness, the presentation of Massimo Dutti's new Spring/Summer 18 collections was a display of creativity and innovation that caused a stir among the brand’s loyal followers. A sequence of impactful looks where there was no lack of the concepts inherent to the core of the brand such as quality, exclusivity and progress, particularly in the outline of silhouettes, combination of colours,

and study of materials and textures, always seeking maximum quality and comfort. Her. Woman. Her long silhouette merges with the street. Discrete chromatic combinations, extreme softness and refined lines. Massimo Dutti dresses a woman who breathes unpretentious elegance with a demeanour that shows a profound way of being: completely unique. Tailored suits, palazzo trousers, dresses that play with geometry, blouses made of light, almost volatile fabrics, and very structured lines. Sobriety rises up with power in a season where elegance has a vocation for comfort; and femininity, with male echoes. Him. Man. Simple. Pure. Day-to-day pieces are slotted in naturally, without artifice. A fresh and different combination of the summer outfit arrives in its most relaxed and clearly avant-garde version. A versatile mix, perfect for any time of the day. Tone-ontone, fresh and easy fabrics and cuts with a subtle lightness taken to their maximum expression. The casual aesthetic floods the street with its relaxed shapes, a natural and discreet palette, and construction with materials of exquisite quality and tactile feel. Thus day-to-day pieces are slotted in naturally, with a casual style redefined on the basis of new values that do without anything that is not natural beauty.
