Dogs also do not create tricks; you need to teach them every single movement. Another important part in raising dogs is training; you need to have extra time to train your dog. Teaching your dog to obey instructions requires you allowing the dog to do the right commands and correct the wrong ones. You must never be too hard on the dog and avoid striking it; otherwise it will not obey you. If it tends to obey you because of punishment, it will be unhappy. Try to reward your dog as you train it, to get what you want and to make your dog follow the instructions. As a result of dogs requiring cleaning, exercising, and training, you have to provide your dog with proper leadership. In consequence, you will spend much more time to take care of your dog.

Why Cats Are Better Pets Than Dogs
Whether it is an inside cuddle buddy, or an outside mice killer, cats make wonderful pets. While dogs stay dirty, drool, and bark, cats clean themselves, are clean animals, and meow quietly. Cats are warm and fuzzy and love to cuddle while they take naps. Dogs are too rambunctious and energetic. Cats make better pets than dogs. Dogs can be good for people who are adventurous and outgoing. On the other hand, they are not good for busy people, or people with jobs. Dogs have to get their energy out for them to be calm and collected if they are inside dogs. If the dog is not an outside dog, then they have to run outside and get exercise everyday. If a dog does not get their energy out they will most likely tear things up in the house or run around

From my childhood until now, I have always been an animal lover. Over the years, I have owned lots of pets such as cats, dogs, fish, and hamsters. Currently I have one cat. Cats and dogs rank at the top of the most popular pets of today. Both of them have a vast number of similarities; however the differences between canine and feline are just as enormous. I am going to compare and contrast the similarities and differences between dogs and cats. The similarities are innumerable, yet this holds true with the differences as well. First, we shall discuss the similarities that these two creatures share. One of the most obvious similarities between these two animals is that they...show more content...
An example of this would be that my cat found a bird coming from the fire place and kept playing with it for almost forty five minutes, then just pawed at it; other words, trying to torture it. He never ate it, just left it lying dead on the floor by the fire place. Their paws and claws are also different. Both of their paws are padded, cats are padded so they can be stealthy, which means furtive footsteps. Their claws are different in the sharpness, among other things. Another difference in claws is that cats' claws are retractable, while a dog isn't. When a dog is born, its claws are sharp, but since they are not retractable, they get ground down so they are not sharp anymore. A cat's claws are sharp when their born, but are kept hidden only when needed. If they were to walk on their claws all day, they would get dull. As for a dog, his get dull by being on them all day. Another thing is their tongues. I mean the cat's tongues have little barbs on them so they can eat tough food and basically lick every drop off of anything. Dogs on the other hand, don't have barbs. They use there tongue to sweat. So on a hot summer day, they have their tongue hanging out because there sweating, not thirsty. Both cats and dogs like to have their owners stroke their back or scratch behind their ears. There have been studies that show stroking your pets coat can relieve anxiety. This action is soothing for both the pet and the owner. Raising pets is a good

Imagine yourself coming home to a cute, fluffy, brown cat just purring and rubbing on your feet or even just playing with your toes after a long and tiring day at work. After a few minutes, you now feel relaxed and calm. Everyone knows that a man 's best friend is a dog, but what about a cat? Having a cat is just as important as a dog. At a young age, I had many pets including cats, and through my experience, I have learned a lot about them. I believe that cats are better pets than dogs and should be appreciated. Cats are cute and cuddly, but they can be dangerous when needed to. Having a cat is just like having a free exterminator at home. As stated by Animal Planet in their video, "Cats 101: Domestic Housecat," cats were brought from England to the colonies to control rat infestations and, still, today, cats have the urge to hunt these creatures. Cats enjoy or at least some of them, like to hunt and eat rats and mice. If someone had a rat or mice infestation, I would definitely recommend them to get a cat as soon as possible.
Apart from being an exterminator, cats are very easy to maintain. Despite their small sizes that they come in, they do not need their owners to bathe them. Cats keep clean by constantly licking themselves, unlike dogs that have to be bathed by their pet owners. Since cats can clean their own selves, it saves money because a person does not have to buy shampoo or use more water on them. The extra money can then be used for something that's more
