As far has holidays go, the Navy likes to celebrate them early to gather everyone together before we each take leave (vacation time). They were throwing a holiday party in early December. I'm new. I want to meet more people. I want to win a prize. So, I buy tickets. Me and a few of my friends are going to go if for no other reason than to maybe win a new xBox. The party itself was fun. We got to see everyone outside of their uniform which may surprise you. I, on the other hand, was less focused on people and more on extending these festivities. One of my friends that I work with invites me to a house party. I walk in the house. I don't know about you, but my favorite holiday is Christmas; there's nothing better than waking up on Christmas morning to see what presents your parents had gotten you. This was my favorite part of Christmas and if you asked other kids they would say the same thing. Christmas was a time for opening gifts and enjoying time with family. Luckily for me, I went to my grandma 's on my mother's side. One year we go to my mother 's side and the following year we go to my father 's side.
