We will do more in the coming term. Among our plans:
• Initiate the major redevelopment of Kranji race course, to provide new housing and recreational options
• Develop the new Sungei Kadut Eco-District
• Complete the Yew Tee integrated development
• Continue to upgrade HDB homes and neighbourhoods throughout the GRC
• Provide more green spaces, including the upcoming Mandai mangrove and mudflat nature park
In the coming years, we will:
• Initiate works for the extension of the Downtown Line, with new stations in Sungei Kadut and near Yew Tee Village
• Complete the Rapid Transit System linking Woodlands North to Johor Bahru
• Complete an 18 km cycling path network linking the GRC to Choa Chu Kang and Bukit Timah
• Enhance covered linkways and sheltered connections between our estates

We will:
• Enhance local schemes to better support all residents, with more support for lowerincome and vulnerable groups
• Ensure more affordable food options, including through a new hawker centre at Yew Tee
• Improve healthcare services – with the new Woodlands Health Campus and Yew Tee Polyclinic, and the expansion of the Woodlands Polyclinic
• Provide more sports and recreation facilities to promote healthy living
• Better support our children through Edusave and other programmes

In the next term, we will:
• Build new community clubs (CCs) in Marsiling and Yew Tee; and upgrade the CCs in Limbang and Woodgrove’s Fuchun
• Provide more community spaces, and introduce more programmes to bring residents closer together
• Preserve our distinctive cultures, language and heritage, while promoting racial and religious harmony, and strengthening our Singaporean identity
