The school is situated in beautiful surroundings near mountains and the sea. Here is a picture of one of the mountains popular for hiking.

Next to the school there is a sports hall and outdoor sports facilities. In the same building as the sports hall there is also the local library

Midsund

 Midsund consists of 5 islands; Otrøy, Midøy, Magerøy, Dryna and Tautra  There are around 2000 people living here
