KIND OF INSTALLATION / TIPO DE INSTALACIÓN /
The matching marks the distance in which the pattern is repeated along a roll of wallpaper. Therefore, you need to take this measurement into account for the installation of designs that feature both straight and skipped matchings.
During installation, so that the pattern is not mismatched between the strips, there is a waste equivalent to the size of the matching. Therefore, to calculate the number of rolls that will be needed, we must take into account these measurements.
El case marca la distancia en que el patrón se repite a lo largo de un rollo de papel pintado. Por tanto es necesario tener en cuenta esta medida para la instalación de los diseños que cuenta con case recto y salteado.

Dos de los métodos más reconocidos para evaluar la resistencia al deslizamiento, son el Péndulo de Fricción y el DCOF.
- Determinación de la resistencia al deslizamiento por el método del Péndulo de Fricción:
El valor “Rd” se determina mediante el ensayo del Péndulo de Fricción descrito en el Anexo C de la norma EN 16165. La siguiente tabla establece la clasificación de los suelos según su resbaladicidad en superficies mojadas. Según los resultados del ensayo, se establece la siguiente clasificación según su mayor o menor resistencia al deslizamiento:
La résistance au glissement est une considération importante lors du choix d’un revêtement de sol, qu’il soit destiné à des zones intérieures sèches ou à des zones intérieures ou extérieures humides. Deux des méthodes les plus reconnues pour évaluer la résistance au dérapage sont le pendule à friction et le DCOF.
- Détermination de la résistance au glissement par la méthode du pendule à friction :
La valeur « Rd » est déterminée par le test du pendule de frottement décrit dans l’annexe C de la norme EN 16165. Le tableau suivant présente la classification des sols en fonction de leur glissance sur les surfaces mouillées. Selon les résultats des tests, la classification suivante est établie en fonction de leur plus ou moins grande résistance au glissement :
- Dynamic Coefficient of Friction (DCOF):
The DCOF (Dynamic Coefficient of Friction) value is obtained as described in ANSI A137.1
Section 9.6. The Dynamic Coefficient of Friction is determined by a numerical range between zero and one. A lower number indicates that the surface has less friction, traction and is therefore more slippery, and a higher DCOF number means that it has more friction, traction and is less slippery.
It is advisable to follow the installation and maintenance instructions published by L’Antic Colonial, S.A.U., observing in any case the legal or regulatory requirements that may exist for each area of use, and/or for each country or region.
- Coeficiente Dinámico de Fricción (DCOF):
El valor DCOF (Coeficiente Dinámico de Fricción) se obtiene según lo descrito en la norma ANSI A137.1
Section 9.6. El Coeficiente Dinámico de Fricción se determina mediante un rango numérico entre cero y uno. Un número más bajo indica que la superficie tiene menos fricción, tracción y por lo tanto es más resbaladiza, y un número DCOF mas alto significa que tiene más fricción, tracción y es menos resbaladiza. Se aconseja seguir las instrucciones de colocación y mantenimiento editadas por L’Antic Colonial, S.A.U. cumpliendo en cualquier caso con los requisitos legales o normativos que pudieran existir para cada ámbito de uso, y/o de cada país o región.
- Coefficient de friction dynamique (DCOF) :
La valeur DCOF (Coefficient de friction dynamique) est obtenue comme décrit dans la norme ANSI A137.1 section 9.6. Le coefficient de friction dynamique est déterminé par une plage numérique comprise entre zéro et un. Un chiffre plus bas indique que la surface a moins de friction, de traction et est donc plus glissante, et un chiffre DCOF plus élevé signifie qu’elle a plus de friction, de traction et est moins glissante. On préconise de suivre les instructions d’installation et d’entretien publiées par L’Antic Colonial, S.A.U., en respectant dans tous les cas les exigences légales ou réglementaires qui peuvent exister pour chaque zone d’utilisation, et/ou pour chaque pays ou région.
