Started as an assignment for ARCH 446: Italian Urban History,
this sketchbook soon transformed to act beyond its prescribed use. As was assigned in the course, it contains sketches for everyday during the Rome Term; but it also includes thoughts, poems, and deep emotions that those four months contained for me. As I drew, I learned, and as I learned, I wrote. It was a transforming experience for me that chances my entire view on my career and my sketchbook was my companion through all of that. It became my testing ground, helped me see the word differently, and it taught me more than I could've ever hoped for.
