What would you do if you were given one final chance to tell your story?
For decades, coming-of-age stories have occupied a significant place in theatre because they capture something universally human—the search for identity, belonging, purpose, and connection. Yet few musicals tackle these ideas with the same eccentricity, emotional honesty, and audacious theatricality as Ride the Cyclone. In the past decade, the musical has steadily gained cult status over the years for its wildly inventive score, surreal humor, and deeply poignant exploration of mortality and adolescence.
At first glance, the premise feels delightfully absurd: six teenagers from a small Canadian chamber choir perish in a roller coaster accident and are invited to compete for the chance to return to life. But beneath its quirky exterior lies a profoundly moving meditation on what it means to be young and alive. The musical asks questions that many of us quietly wrestle with every day. How do we want to be remembered? What makes a life meaningful? Is it possible to truly know ourselves before the world expects us to have all the answers?
One of the reasons I felt this musical was such a compelling choice for Triple Threats is because it gives young performers the rare opportunity to inhabit characters who are simultaneously heightened, comedic, vulnerable, and painfully real. Each character longs to be seen beyond labels, expectations, and stereotypes. Teenagers today are navigating immense pressures surrounding identity, achievement, popularity, social acceptance, and mental wellbeing. In many ways, Ride the Cyclone captures the emotional chaos of growing up with clarity, humor, and compassion.
The musical also celebrates individuality in all its strange and beautiful forms. Theatre reminds us that our uniqueness is not something to suppress, but something to embrace.
Triple Threats has always been about nurturing emerging performers and giving them a space to grow artistically and personally. What has been especially rewarding about this production is witnessing these young artists rise to the immense challenges of the material. Our cast has approached the process with extraordinary commitment, sensitivity, and heart, and I could not be prouder of what they have achieved together.
To the entire creative and production team: thank you for your artistry, patience, and tireless dedication in bringing this strange and exhilarating world to life. Theatre is always a collaborative act of faith, and this production would not exist without every individual working passionately behind the scenes and onstage.
Finally, thank you to all of you for supporting young artists and live theatre here in Singapore. At its best, theatre allows us to confront life’s biggest questions together—to laugh at the absurdity of being human, to grieve what is lost, and to celebrate the fleeting beauty of existence. I hope this production reminds us all, regardless of age, to cherish the moments we are given and the people with whom we share them.

Welcome to Pangdemonium's Triple Threats 2026!
Since 2014, our Triple Threats model has been in the form of an intensive two-week training programme in the disciplines of singing, dancing and acting, culminating in a showcase for friends and family. For the first time last year, we staged a full-fledged production of Heathers.
As our final installment, our Triple Threats are causing a storm with Ride the Cyclone!
One of Pangdemonium’s key missions is to nurture young talents in a safe, professional environment. Our Triple Threats Musical Theatre programme gives aspiring performers an opportunity to discover and develop fundamental skills and techniques of musical theatre. And perhaps more significantly, we aim to empower these young folks to feel great about themselves, while having FUN!
To our wonderful Triple Threats Workshop Mentor and Director Caleb Goh; our awesome Musical Director Joanne Ho; and brilliant Vocal Coach Natalie Yeap—thank you for your dedication, patience and hard work.
And to our young Triple Threats—you’ve all demonstrated commitment, discipline, energy, and passion, learned new skills, discovered more about yourselves, and grown in selfconfidence. May this be a truly memorable step in life’s journey for each and every one of you.

Hi! I’m Jennoria, anything relating to opera and musical theater makes me happy! After attaining my Diploma in Singing from Trinity College London, I’m currently pursuing film and stage acting. Besides performing, I write original compositions, and l love to surf (and can jump on a surfboard)!
I was super excited when Pangdemonium announced a casting for Triple Threats this year, and really wanted to be inspired by everyone I would meet and the new insights I would gain from this production run by so many talented individuals. I strongly believe that the best opportunities definitely come when you put yourself out there, so that's exactly what I did, and I am so grateful to be playing the role of Jane Doe in this show.

I am Elena, a recent JC graduate going into SMU for Law. I have spent the last ten years of my life in my respective schools’ drama CCAs, savouring the impressive performance art and precious third space that is theatre. I’d like to shout-out my JC CCA, Raffles Players, for truly embodying both of these qualities.
I attended last year’s Triple Threats production of Heathers, where I was inspired to try a hand at auditioning for the programme after being so captured by the cast. As such, I am infinitely grateful for this opportunity that Pangdemonium has given me. Although I couldn’t possibly know what happens next, I hope we all have great fun on this final ride.

Growing up loving to sing and act, musical theatre has always been a creative outlet for me that I dream of pursuing. Taking Drama as a subject and Musical Theatre Grade 8 under Trinity College of Music allowed me to take my knowledge of the art to the next level.
Being a part of the previous year’s Triple Threats programme, I worked alongside talented individuals as well as challenged myself to a higher standard. This year, I’ve joined in hopes to continue to challenge myself in a lead role and gain more exposure in this field of performing arts!

I joined this program to expand my repertoire and learn more about musical theatre in general, and I feel like these past few years have been the most fulfilling and rewarding experiences of my life! Hello! I’m Yu Qing, a Secondary 4 student studying in River Valley High School. I’ve always had a deep passion for performing on stage, which became my escape from school and led me to all sorts of adventures, from school performances in the Drama Club to productions with theatre companies like The Stage Club (The Crucible and Cinderella). Outside of theatre, I am often seen listening to music, planning events for Student Council, or getting some extra sleep. I hope you enjoy the show, because you’re in for a hell of a ride!
I joined this workshop in hopes of enhancing my skills and understanding of musical theatre through learning from experienced coaches alongside a community of passionate castmates. Pangdemonium’s Triple Threats workshop has given me an invaluable opportunity to challenge myself in a lead role while having fun throughout and making lasting friendships.

Hi! I'm Ignatius, and I'm happy to be here! My favourite activities include staring off into the distance from an elevated point, pretending I know a lot about musical theatre and watching 22 men chase a ball around a grass (sometimes turf) pitch. I learnt to sing in the shower!
I found out about Triple Threats through an Instagram post my friend shared. I thought it would be a fun experience so I applied and I got the role! I hope that, through this, I will get to grow as a performer and meet new friends in the theatre scene!

Hi, I’m Hubert! I graduated from SJI in 2024 and I am looking to pursue Psychology in university. I love going out with family and friends, playing board games and jamming with my band. I joined Drama Club in secondary school, but it was in J1 when I was first introduced to musicals by my friends and eventually got to write and direct one of my own at school.
After getting to watch more musical theatre, I’ve always wanted the opportunity to act in one. I felt that Triple Threats was the perfect programme to experience performing in a full-length production for the first time. This program has allowed me to challenge my singing, dancing and acting abilities, and I am so grateful to get to go through it with others that are here to learn as well.

I am an aspiring performer and will soon be studying Theatre (English Drama) at NAFA. Since performing in Heathers: The Musical (Teen Edition) through last year's programme, I have had the opportunity to perform in a Christmas pantomime with Stage Club SG and have most recently trained with SRT's The Young Company.
I joined the Triple Threats Programme again this year because I wanted to continue honing my craft. Pangdemonium is such a safe and supportive environment that encourages me to challenge myself as a performer. I am incredibly grateful to the Pangdemonium team for believing in me and giving me another opportunity to grow and develop my skills.

Introduced to musical theatre through dance at a young age, encouraged by my siblings, I developed a passion for performing. I began vocal lessons at age nine and soon started auditioning for theatre productions. Since then, I have appeared in shows including Little Shop of Horrors, Grease, Once on This Island.
Inspired by friends who spoke highly of their experiences in the programme, I was encouraged to audition. I am excited for the opportunity to develop my acting, singing, and dancing skills while learning in a supportive and creative environment. I also look forward to collaborating with new people and creating meaningful connections through theatre.

Performing arts has always been a huge part of my life – I started out as a pop singer and discovered the world of musical theatre last year. I’m currently studying my 4th year of music at SOTA and love doing live shows with my band and writing my own music!
I’m currently trying to push myself to explore new areas of music and performance, which is why I decided to join Triple Threats! I've done music and theatre growing up but never had ever done them together. When I was younger, I had only sang at home. If you had told me that I was capable to do a show at 18, I would have told you it would have been impossible. Until now.
I have been following the programme for a long time. I decided that, since this is the last year, I would give it a try. I'm eternally grateful I was given this opportunity to showcase who I am on a platform so big. I would like to thank Pangdemonium for everything.

Having a great love for singing and acting, I was quickly in love with Musical Theatre, and have always dreamed of performing in one. However, I have never actually performed in a production, other than the theatre showcases held in my school, SOTA. I take up many interests and hobbies, yet I am always drawn to musical theatre as it holds a special place in my heart, hence I give my all to performing.
I joined the Triple Threats programme as I had been researching it for a while, and I had watched the Triple Threats Heathers – Teen Edition last year, and was extremely keen to perform as well. I also wanted to have a foundation of working in a production for future works I wish to uphold as I gain more experience and skills.

As a JC student taking a difficult science combination, making music has always been my great passion and my go-to stress reliever. I trained in classical singing for many years and have past experience performing in solo recitals and choirs. Now, when I am not revising, I aim to exercise my talent at every chance I get!
I joined Triple Threats because I am excited to broaden my skill set and apply my vocal training in a novel and challenging way! Opportunities like this are not common for me, so I jumped at the chance to learn more about musical theatre and acting to make myself a truly well-rounded performer.

I’m Enzi, an Aerospace Engineering student at Nanyang Polytechnic. My love for musical theatre began at eleven when my sister took me to watch Hamilton. Though I followed a standard academic path, I constantly longed for the stage. Watching LASALLE’s Ride the Cyclone inspired me to actually start training in musical theatre. It has come full circle as I am now performing in the same musical!
I joined Triple Threats to become a better performer in a supportive environment under professional direction. I want to experience a full-scale musical theatre production as a performer, from auditioning, rehearsing to performing! I can't wait to share the powerful message behind Ride the Cyclone with the audience!
Caleb Goh graduated with a BA in Drama from QUT (Australia), an MFA in Musical Theatre from SDSU (California), and a Ph.D. in Musical Theatre at WAAPA (Australia).
He has worked professionally as an actor, singer, playwright, director, choreographer and dancer in over eighty stage productions, a dozen television series, and four feature films, both in Singapore as well as the United States of America.
For the past three decades, Caleb has directed over forty plays and musicals, and choreographed over twenty musicals, plays with music, and dance performances.
From 2006–2012, Caleb was the glee club director and full-time drama, dance and musical theatre teacher at La Jolla Country Day School in California. In 2012, the Caleb Goh Dance Award was named after him to honor his contribution to the dance and musical theatre curriculum.
In Singapore, Caleb taught musical theatre history at LaSalle – College of the Arts and also directed and choreographed the musical theatre productions at the university. He was also previously the artist-inresidence, mentor and musical theatre lecturer at the College of Alice and Peter Tan at NUS.
Caleb currently holds the position as the upper school drama teacher at Francis W. Parker School.

Joanne is the first Singaporean to graduate from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with an MA in Music Directing. She was nominated for Best Musical Direction in Broadway World's West End Awards as well as Best Music in the Straits Times Life! Theatre Awards. Joanne has worked extensively abroad, with credits spanning London, Scotland, Malaysia and Korea.

Petrina Dawn Tan holds a Master’s in Collaborative Theatre Production and Design from Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. Specialising in Scenography (Space and Lighting), she has designed for circuses, community music festivals, and participatory installations. Passionate about integrating light and space, she advocates a seamless synthesis of visual, experiential, and spatial elements. Her work has won Best Set at the 2020 Straits Times Life Theatre Awards and been showcased internationally, including Brisbane Festival and Oz Asia.

Enqi Chee is a Singaporebased production artist with a lighting design focus, who also moonlights as a creative/ technical producer and production manager. Constantly shifting between the different sectors in the arts & entertainment industry, she collaborates with artists and clients in theatre, dance, music, film, and events. Much of her work interweaves design elements from multiple genres, bringing together artistry, technicality and technology, creating works that linger, just that moment longer.
Collaborators in recent years include Dance Ensemble Singapore, JJ Lin, Kit Chan, MICappella, Singapore Management University, So Drama! Entertainment, Stefanie Sun, The Island Voices, amongst others.

Ryan is a sound practitioner based in Singapore and is mentored by Jing Ng in the sound industry.
His recent credits include Associate Sound Designer for Waiting for Audience by Nine Years Theatre, and Sound Operator for Pangdemonium’s productions of Doubt: A Parable and Falling.
Ryan continues to develop his skills in theatrical sound, with interests in sound design, programming, and live show operation.

Jia Hui is a professional in the field of arts and theatre management. She has since gained extensive experience working with both local and overseas costume designers for the myriad of productions.
Her design credits include notable works such as Everything For You (Nine Years Theatre), Disgraced, 2:22 A Ghost Story, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, LUNGS (SRT), Five Elements (Ding Yi Music Company-An Esplanade Commission), The Rattle King (An Esplanade Commission), and many more.
Jia Hui has also served as a Costume Coordinator for multiple shows, including Macbeth, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The LKY Musical, The Almighty Sometimes (SRT), Falling, Into the Woods, End of the Rainbow, The Glass Menagerie (Pangdemonium) and more.

Natalie Yeap is a Singaporebased actor, singer, and vocal coach specialising in musical theatre. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music (Musical Theatre), she performs professionally while nurturing voices of all levels with curiosity, kindness, and joyful intensity. Natalie founded community-rooted arts collectives like Broadway Belters and We’re Oquay, creating brave, supportive spaces for singers and performers.
As a vocal coach, she combines technical expertise with expressive artistry, helping students and professionals alike sing with confidence, authenticity, and heart. She is proud to serve as Singapore Repertory Theatre's resident vocal coach (2025–2026), and is so excited to be working with Pangdemonium again as vocal coach for Triple Threats!
