This is Basketball.
This is Basketball’s family.
On Friday’s,Basketball
visits his uncle No Bounce. His breath stinks but Basketball is okay with it.
Why was the basketball court wet? Because the players dribbled all over it. HA HA.
At bedtime, Basketball loves to listen to the story of his ancestor who was scoring points for the NBA and even got held by Michael Jordan himself!
Recently, basketball had been feeling blue.
“What’s wrong!” Asked his mother.”You look a bit deflated today.”
“It’s just that… mumbled basketball.
“I got pimples on my skin,Baseball never has pimples on his skin.”
“It does seem so, doesn’t it.” Said his mother.
“And I get hit on the backboard, American football never gets hit when he scores.”
“And football, football is sooo lucky , everybody loves him. But im just… normal.”
Meanwhile, all of basketball’s friends were jealous of him.
“Basketball is way better than me.” said baseball,” I get hit with a bat , basketball never gets hit with a bat.”

Really?
“Basketball is so clean,” said football!” I have to roll on the dirty ground.”
Later that night, Basketball’s mum tucked him in and told him.
“Do you know how lucky you are?”
“Your friends don’t know what it’s like to swish through the net.”
“You get to bounce around all over the place.”
“They have no grip but you have loads of it.”
Basketball hadn’t thought of it that way before, his mind was racing, he couldn’t sleep.
“I can’t sleep.”
“Come snuggle.”
So he did…
