This is Pasta.
This is Pasta’s family.
Pasta visits his aunt Mafaldine on Mondays. She’s pasta-lively amazing.
Pasta loves hearing about his past at bedtime.
“Did you know we came from Italy and we migrated here.”
Wow!
Pasta is feeling blue.
“Im feeling a bit sauced.”
“What’s wrong?” asked Pasta’s mom.
“Its just that all my friends have it better than me” said Pasta.
“Yes”
said Pasta’s mom “Pizza is really cool”.
“And Chicken Nuggets is always with Burger!”
“I guess your right.”
“While French Fries get to swim in oil.”
“That sounds fun…”
Meanwhile…If only Pasta knew what his friends were saying about him..
“Pasta is so lucky, I never get to twirl around!” complained Pizza.
“Pasta has so many friends on his plate , I only have 6 or 9.” cried Chicken Nuggets.
“Pasta is always with meatballs!” moaned French Fries
“That night after bedtime stories Pasta’s mom turned off the lights and tucked him in while saying…”
“Pasta- I wonder if you realize how lucky you are . “
“Your friends will never know the joy of wiggling around.”
“Or the feeling of jumpin g off a fork.”
“And you will never experience the feeling of being forgotten, us pastas stick together.”
“Pasta hadn’t thought of that before, he lay in bed, his mind racing… he felt so alive! There was only one thing to do.
“Can I come in ?” asks Pasta.
“ Why not.” says Pasta’s mom.
