Celebrating 40yrs of Innovation in 2026
Scenic was established in Newcastle in 1986, by Glen Moroney, who is Scenic Group’s Chairman and Founder.
Over four decades, the company has grown from its beginnings in land touring in Australia then Canada, New Zealand, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Asia. In 2008 Scenic launched its innovative Scenic Space-Ships, initially in Central Europe (Rhine, Main, Danube and Moselle) then expanding into France (Seine, Bordeaux, Southern France), Portugal (Douro) and South-East Asia (Mekong).
Since the launch of the first Scenic Discovery Yacht, Scenic Eclipse, followed by Scenic Eclipse II in 2023, Scenic Group has pioneered innovation in designing new luxury yacht cruising experiences. Sister brand, Emerald Cruises, has two luxury yachts, Emerald Azzurra and Emerald Sakara which cruise the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Seychelles, catering for up to 100 guests in 50 staterooms and suites.
