Irma has won the admiration of many and inspires everyone she encounters. Irma is a college professor of communications, speaker, author, success coach and life-long student. Irma spent years in the field of human services, working with our mentally ill population, children and families before understanding her true calling of speaking. Irma has a passion for people, communication, community, education and empowerment. She loves to travel and you can usually catch her with a smile and an uplifting message. After a loss of more than $2 million dollars, foreclosure, divorce, loss, and family illnesses, Irma kept going knowing she was called to do great things. She spends a portion of her time showing others how life is filled with blessings and lessons. "We must keep stepping forward even when all we can take are baby steps," says Irma. Irma offers the following speaking topics as keynote, breakout sessions, retreats, and workshops: Self-care Isn't Selfish; Customer Service is Everyone's Job; Balancing the Balls of Life; Taking Your Public Speaking Public; Women, Roles and Responsibility; Success Starts with Action Steps; Dodging the Distractions; and Being Setup for Life's Comeback. Irma loves to share her stories of the days when she and her family owned an IHRA (International Hot Rod Association) race team. Irma loves quarter-mile drag racing still today. "Once you go that fast from then on you have an inner need for speed," said Irma.
