This 30-million dollar improvement project began in early 2024, promising modern and enhanced facilities including a new TSA Screening Checkpoint, Boarding Gate Areas, Boarding Bridges, and more These improvements and additions will almost triple the airport’s size, and phase one of this project is set to be completed in 2026. The Hilton Head Island Airport currently operates major airlines such as American Airlines, Delta, and United, with nonstop flights to nine major cities like Atlanta, Chicago, Newark, and more.
The Hilton Head Island Town Council voted in new rates for paid beach parking lots. These new rates go into effect on March 1st and last until September 7th for the following beaches:
