YOUR TOWN GET WATER SAFE Flagler County Fire Rescue is partnering with agencies and businesses throughout the county to provide an educational yet fun day of water safety instruction for families and children. WaterSafe 2021 will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 5, at the Belle Terre Swim & Racquet Club, 73 Patricia Lane, Palm Coast. This year’s event will be socially distanced and masks will be required as a precaution. Meet a live mermaid! Florida leads the country in drowning deaths of children ages 1 to 4, according to the Florida Department of Health. This event is free of charge.
