BIZ BUZZ LOCAL SURGEON AWARDED ACCREDITATION Dr. Roger Thayer was recently awarded a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons accreditation, making him only the second Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery Fellow in Volusia and Flagler Counties. His colleague, Dr. Curtis Schalit, of Florida Oral and Facial Surgical Associates, became the first to receive the distinction in 2019. “I am honored to join this exclusive group of incredible, like-minded surgeons,” said Thayer. “I truly believe all people deserve to live life with dignity and I will keep work- Dr. Roger Thayer ing to better myself so I can provide the care they need in order to smile again.” Dr. Thayer has been part of the practice since 2011.
