COPS CORNER SEPT. 18
COOKIE MISUNDERSTANDING 1:12 p.m. — First block of North Yonge Street Disturbance. An assistant manager spotted a 61-year-old man on the property and, knowing the man had been trespassed from the property in the past, called the police. The police investigated and learned that another employee had offered the man free cookies as a thank you for helping during the employee’s shift. Because of the offer of cookies, the police said, the 61-year-old was not in violation of the tresspass order.
