With Florida COVID-19 cases totaling 223,783 on Wednesday, July 8, — about 130,000 of which were reported in the last two weeks alone — Gov. Ron DeSantis continues to hold steady regarding his decision to reopen. He attributed the spike to increased testing across the state.

A record 11,436 new cases were reported on July 3, but when over 85,000 people are getting tested, numbers like those are to be expected, said DeSantis in a press conference in The Villages on July 6.

“Yeah you’ll have twice as many tests come back positive, but it’s not really evidence that it’s more prevalent,” he said. The positivity rate has remained low, relatively speaking, he said.

The statewide positivity rate in the last week has ranged about 15%-19%, according to data by the Florida Department of Health.

In Volusia, which has 3,070 cases as of Wednesday, July 8, the positivity rate has been 8%-17%.

The Ormond Beach Planning Board will meet on Thursday, July 9, and there are three items scheduled for review.

Two of the items have to do with the 18-acre parcel of land at 350 Clyde Morris Boulevard near Aberdeen at Ormond Beach. The first is a comprehensive land amendment to assign a future land use designation, should the annexation of the parcel be approved upon second reading at the July 28 commission meeting.It was

approved on first reading at the June 9 meeting.

The second item will assign a zoning to the property.

City staff is recommending a Suburban Boulevard B-10 zoning.

According to city documents, the project civil engineer expressed a desire to build an assisted living facility and medical office in the parcel.

The other item on the agenda relates to the Ormond Memorial Art Museum

expansion at 78 E. Granada Boulevard. OMAM is seeking a special exception to have five wall signs — it is allowed two without the exception — at the museum once the expansion is completed.

The almost $3 million project will add 6,800 square feet to the museum by way of a three-story addition, including more gallery space, a rooftop terrace and bigger classrooms.

The gardens will be left as is.

Jeremiah’s Italian Ice coming soon Ormond Beach will soon have a Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, as one will open in the former Little Caesar’s building at 162 S. Nova Road.

Franchise owner Hayden Boyd said he and his team are getting ready to begin construction soon. They are awaiting city permitting. Aside from an inside dining area and a walk-up window, this location will also have a drive-thru.

The process began back in December but was delayed due to COVID-19.

Jeremiah’s has a focus on helping charities and bringing people together, Boyd said.

He’s excited to bring that to Ormond Beach and hopes to open by fall.

“It’s a very nice laid back community and we feel like there’s a lot of potential,” Boyd said.

Boyd is also planning to open a Jeremiah’s in Port Orange and New Smyrna Beach.

There is currently a location inside One Daytona.

A proclamation for face masks The mayor of Ormond Beach issued a proclamation on Thursday, July 2, deeming wearing a face covering in the city a necessity, and urging residents and businesses to do so when social distancing isn’t possible.

The proclamation is not a mandate, but the city hopes residents will voluntarily comply.

ountain Square Village in Ormond Beach is undergoing a renaissance.

With new boutiques, renovation of existing spaces and new ownership, the shopping plaza at 142 E. Granada Boulevard is being revitalized into a place for locals and tourists alike, a vision property manager Herve Rabeaux wanted to undertake after he and his family heard Fountain Square could be lost forever. Back in 2018, the previous owner held a neighborhood meeting where plans were presented to demolish the existing building and replace it with a five-story commercial and residential building. That redevelopment came to a full stop after residents opposed the plans.

Rabeaux, son-in-law of Bikini Company owners Louise and Bruce Routzahn, reminisced with his family about the good memories they had in Fountain Square, which was built in 1976.

At the same time, the family was

considering moving the existing Bikini Company storefront inside Granada Plaza to their own building. “[The Routzahns] had so many good memories here too,” Rabeaux said. “They said, ‘OK, let’s do it.’”

Bikini Company of Volusia County Inc. purchased Fountain Square from Across The Pond LLC for $1.6 million on Feb. 28.

Since then, the plaza has brought in four new businesses, including a Bikini Company storefront in the former location of Nest Interior Design. New boutique Joyologie has recently opened where fashion boutique My Adornments used to be prior to closing in 2019 and Beach People Boutique opened on June 11. Bliss Wellness is also moving from its secondfloor location to a bigger space downstairs. The plaza also houses the office for I’ve Got a Girl cleaning services.

Rabeaux said they want to restore Fountain Square to what it once was, and then, make it better.

“We certainly don’t want to be one more outlet plaza on the side of I-95,” Rabeaux said. “... It’s all about respecting the people that live here, the community.”

THE RIGHT DIRECTION

Taylor Wendlocher, owner of MarketRite Digital Marketing, was brought onboard recently to complete all the marketing for Fountain Square. So far, she said it’s been awesome to bring something new to the community.

The energy between tenants — both new and those who have been in the plaza for decades like Ron’s Place of Barber Styling —has been great, Wendlocher said. They are becoming like a family and are all supportive of each other.

“It’s just good to kind of see everything start moving in the right direction,” Wendlocher said. “Every day we get busier and busier.”

that held its grand opening on June 27. Its drinks use Herbalife products, and the business is hosting free workouts at 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, said Wellness Coach Christopher Minniear.

“We’re trying to bring that message into the community and try to help them be in better health and lifestyle,” he said.

Minniear said they are happy being located inside Fountain Square, as its location offers proximity to the beach, the Granada bridge and Rockefeller Gardens, all of which are spots were people frequently exercise.

Beyond that, he also said the plaza is pretty.

“It’s like a little Europeanarea,” Minniear said.

COMPLETING THE PUZZLE

There is still work to be done, however — namely, a large tenant space to fill. Toscana, the Italian restaurant on the second floor of Fountain Square, has closed.

Rabeaux seeks to split the vacant space into two units, with perhaps a tapas restaurant on one end and a trendy eatery for the younger crowd on the other. Once the restaurant space is rented out, Wendlocher said they’ll have all the pieces to complete the puzzle.

It’s part of the mission to make Fountain Square a destination on the beachside, Rabeaux said.

“It’s Fountain Square Village,” Rabeaux said. “Come have a good time here. Come talk with all the business owners and see what you need.”

County wants residents to wear masks for 30 days

AdventHealth doctor outlines why you should wear a mask

Ed Kelley said the county will not instate a mask mandate, but strongly encouraged residents to wear face coverings while out in public.

Volusia County Council Chair Ed Kelley is asking citizens to wear a face mask when in public for the next 30 days in hopes to slow the spread of COVID-19 in the community.

He announced the initiative during a press conference on Thursday, July 2, saying that, while Volusia wants residents to “mask up,” county officials will not make it a mandatory because they believe residents are responsible enough to follow the “Step Up Volusia” plan, which encourages residents to wash their hands, wear a mask and practice social distancing due to the coronavirus.

“You should be able to choose for yourself,” Kelley said. “It shouldn’t be up to the Volusia County government.”

The county continues to see a rise in cases. Volusia County Florida Department of Health Administrator Patricia Boswell said more COVID-19 cases have been reported in the past two weeks alone compared with the cases reported between March and early June. The county currently has 3,070 cumulative cases of coronavirus, and 62 people have died, as of Wednesday, July 8. The 14-day positivity rate at the time of the press conference was 10%, Boswell said; During the county’s press conference on June 26, the 14-day positivity rate had been 6.5%.

“The data that I’m sharing with you says one thing: The virus is

spreading in our community,” Boswell said.

Dr. Margaret Crossman, chief medical officer at Halifax Health, said there were 16 people in the hospital’s 30-bed COVID-19 unit at the time. Six of those people were on ventilators. The hospital’s intensive care unit has 30% of its beds open as of Thursday, July 2, a figure Crossman said has fluctuated daily between 20-35%.

The press conference included reminders for people to continue practicing social distancing while at the beach as the Fourth of July celebration approaches. The beaches will remain open.

If everyone masks up for the next 30 days, Kelley said he believes the number of new coronavirus cases will decrease significantly.

“Let’s do something and exercise our freedom to make a difference in the lives of everyone else that we come in contact with,” he said.

Kelley shared that his brother’s 21-year-old granddaughter, a student at the University of Tennessee, recently tested positive for COVID-19. She had contact with several family members, all of who have tested negative at this time.

COVID-19 is real, the chair said.

“It’s not a fig newton of your imagination,” Kelley said. “It is out there. It is serious. It is dangerous.”

Social distancing is not a substitute for wearing a face mask in public, said Dr. Peter Schoch, chief medical officer of Integrated Health Services for AdventHealth’s Central Florida Division, during a COVID-19 briefing on Thursday, July 2.

“When you’re out and about, you want to make sure that you are wearing a mask to maximize the protection and minimize the spread of the virus, even when you’re socially distancing,” Schoch said.

With Independence Day celebrations likely to result in gatherings of families and friends, Schoch cautioned individuals choosing to get together against bypassing the precautions outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Gatherings should have been kept small if possible, and Schoch advised keeping a distance of 6 feet between you and people outside your immediate family. If in a bigger group, the doctor asked for the consideration of masks, regardless of whether the gathering took place indoors or outdoors.

The Florida Department of Health reported over 10,000 new cases in the state on Wednesday, July 8. Of those, 119 were reported in Volusia County and the positivity rate was 8%. Flagler County reported 14 new cases, with a positivity of 3.6%.

Schoch said there are a number of factors that are probably responsible for the state’s recent spike of coronavirus cases. More people are out and about since the reopening phases began, several Black Lives Matter protests and rallies were held across the state, and the Memorial Day holiday also resulted in public gatherings.

Technology that found particles expelled into the air due to a cough or sneeze move at about 100 feet per second and can travel up to 25 feet. These particles can linger in the air for several minutes.

“The mask serves to block it at the source of transmission,” Dr. Vincent Hsu, AdventHealth epidemiologist and infection control officer. “This is the most effective way if you can’t social distance.”

Schoch said that while wearing a mask may feel uncomfortable, it doesn’t limit the exchange of air or increase the inhalation of carbon dioxide. Everyone — except children under 2 years old and persons that have difficulty breathing — should be fine wearing a face covering, he explained.

It’s a personal and social responsibility, Schoch added, saying it “is bigger than ourselves.” if someone is asymptomatic and not wearing a mask, they can transmit the virus to others.

“I would not want that on my conscience to be honest with you, that I didn’t take the minimum precaution necessary to prevent you, or someone else in the community from getting the virus, a virus that can be very serious for some folks,” Schoch said.

The median age at the time of the conference was 36 years old, a factor the governor said is significant because the virus is more lethal to the older population. As of July 8, it is 39.

From a clinical perspective, he said 1,000 cases of people under 30 years old will be less significant than 50 cases in a longterm care facility.

“That’s comforting to know when you see the cases that it’s affecting folks who are less likely to see clinical consequences,” DeSantis said.

Having tested about 2.2 million people in Florida, about 10% of the population, the governor said the state will be turning its focus to increasing antibody testing.

University of Florida Health Dr. Michael Lauzardo said during the press conference that the coronavirus presents a wide range of outcomes related to the age of the patient. He encouraged the younger Floridians to mitigate behaviors that could infect them with COVID-19, and later pass it on to older relatives.

“This is a long haul,” Lauzardo said. “There’s some challenges here, but there’s a lot of reasons to be optimistic, and I think that those steps will make a big difference.”

DeSantis emphasized that people should continue to practice social distancing, and said that while wearing a mask can lower the chances of transmitting the virus, it should not replace social distancing.

“If you do it, you’re not going to get infected if you’re maintaining the appropriate distancing,” he said.

Florida schools to offer full School Board appoints services, despite COVID spike interim superintendent Some teachers are concerned about the order.

Education Commissioner Richard Corcoran on Monday, July 6, ordered public schools to reopen in August and offer “the full panoply of services” to students and families.

As COVID-19 outbreaks spike in Florida, Corcoran’s mandate said that extending school closures can impede students’ educational success and prevent parents and guardians from returning to work.

“There is a need to open schools fully to ensure the quality and continuity of the educational process, the comprehensive wellbeing of students and families and a return to Florida hitting its full economic stride,” the order states.

Under the emergency order, all public schools will be required to reopen in August for at least five days a week and to provide the full array of services required by law, including in-person instruction and services for students with special needs.

“Required services must be provided to students from lowincome families, students of migrant workers, students who are homeless, students with disabilities, students in foster care, students who are English-language learners, and other vulnerable populations,” the order says.

Corcoran’s order also instructs school districts to follow the advice of state and local health officials as well as executive orders issued by Gov. Ron DeSantis.

The Republican governor and Corcoran, a former Florida House speaker, have been determined to reopen public schools at full capacity next month, even as state health officials have reported a minimum of 5,000 new COVID-19 cases in each of the last 13 days.

Teachers, however, are concerned about their safety, according to Florida Education Association President Fedrick Ingram.

“It’s clear in communications with our members that educators are scared. They don’t trust politicians to make sure things are safe — rightly so, with the recordbreaking number of cases being reported,” Ingram told the News Service of Florida in an email Monday. “The governor is trying to brush that off.”

ECONOMIC IMPACT

Department of Education spokeswoman Taryn Fenske said in an email last week that the state has a “moral imperative to do our absolute best to return our schools to full operation by August.”

“Our children’s education, the comprehensive health of our families — mental health and stability in homes — and our economy are all depending on us to make every effort to reopen our school campuses,” she wrote.

Fenske, however, would not say if specific metrics about COVID-19 cases would prompt the education department to backtrack on school reopening plans.

PLANS TO BE SUBMITTED

Under the order issued Monday, school districts and charter-school governing boards are required to submit reopening plans to the Department of Education showing how all schools plan to fully reopen and offer all services to students.

The plans need to include the percentage of students in the district who are projected to continue with distance learning.

PANIC ALERT SYSTEM

Gov. Ron DeSantis on June 30 signed a bill that will require each public school in the state to have a “panic alert system” starting in the 2021-2022 academic year.

The bill (SB 70), which passed during the legislative session that ended in March, was named “Alyssa’s Law,” after Alyssa Alhadeff, a student who was among 17 people killed in the February 2018 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.

The panic-button systems will be required to link to local law-enforcement agencies, with a goal of improving coordination and reducing response times by first responders.

“In the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas, milliseconds mattered — and the lack of real-time coordination between first responders likely cost precious lives,” Senate sponsor Lauren Book, D-Plantation, said.

LEARNING FROM HOME

Corcoran’s order acknowledged that some students may continue to learn from home.

Because enrollment numbers could impact per-student funding for public schools, the order says that school districts and charter school governing boards with approved reopening plans will be offered “reporting flexibility” to ensure their funds are not interrupted in the fall semester. Monday’s mandate also waives “strict compliance” with a Florida law requiring schools to operate for at least 180 days.

The Volusia County School Board has appointed Dr. Carmen Balgobin to serve as interim superintendent until Aug. 28 to allow Dr. Scott Fritz to take about eight weeks of medical leave for cancer treatments and recovery.

Balgobin is the current deputy superintendent, and was appointed to her position on Jan. 14. Previously in her career, she worked as the executive area director for the School Transformation Office in Orange County Public Schools and the executive director of Charter and Educational Choices in the Osceola County School District, according to a press release.

The School Board approved the appointment during a virtual meeting on Tuesday, July 7.

Fritz believes he will be back by Aug. 14, but the board chose to extend Balgobin’s appointment for an extra two weeks in case his recovery takes longer than expected.

SICK LEAVE

The board also unanimously approved a motion to allow Fritz to use his accrued sick leave during this time rather than emergency leave pay, as he has enough to cover the time off.

School Board Attorney Ted Doran said there is a provision for emergency leave pay in Fritz’s contract, but that the board had the discretion to pursue granting it or not. He said the district has not had to grant emergency leave pay in at least the last 20 years.

How you can save the Loop Dear Editor: Did you know that the Loop used to look like Pine Tree Drive, from Ormond Lakes to Old Dixie Highway? The county widened the right of way and the pavement, and increased the speed limit to 45 mph, except on some curves that are 35 mph.

What is the Loop? It starts at North Beach Street at the Granada bridge and continues in a loop until you return to the Granada bridge via John Anderson Drive.

Highway used to mean a road, path, cart or wagonway, maybe on an old animal trail.

Early settlers in 1767 with help of American Indians created a shell path from Ormond to St. Augustine and called it the “Kings Road” or “Kings Highway.” Florida was under the control of the British during this time. Part of this path is now called Old Dixie Highway; it’s part of the loop.

Today, a highway is a heavily traveled road. Why would we want a highway with 45 mph speed limit through this beautiful “Old Florida” scenic land? This should be a “lane,” a lightly traveled roadway with no easements or medians, and 30 mph would be the fastest appropriate speed to travel on the Old Dixie part of this lane.

It should slow down on the Walter Boardman Road section to 25 or 20 mph, then 20 mph or 15 mph on High Bridge Road, and then back to 30 mph on John Anderson until you get out of North Peninsula State Park and continue back to the Granada Bridge.

Outside the city limits, the Loop is a Volusia County road.

Let’s tell the county to reduce the shoulders and lower the speed limit. Let the tree line come back closer to the road.

My wife’s paternal grandmother died in the resurgence of the 1918 flu pandemic, nine days after giving birth to my father-in-law. Her family was torn apart. From its onset, my family has taken the COVID-19 pandemic very seriously.

Now there’s a resurgence in Florida.

Recently, I had the opportunity to attend a contactless political sign distribution. I was especially pleased and comforted because all of the event’s volunteers wore masks.

People wanting yard signs did not have to get out of their cars — just pop the trunk open. Our local political campaigns will certainly be different this year with social distancing. As our community comes together in 2020 to preserve Ormond Beach’s small city character, and quality of life, we must first and foremost protect each other. I call upon the city of

a bike lane. Narrower lanes psychologically tell the driver that the slower speed limit is appropriate, just like wider lanes say, “It’s OK to go faster.”

Anywhere the power lines are visible from the road, let’s ask that they be placed back in the buffer, away from the roadway. Do you want to save the Loop? The scenic byway and trail that is so beautiful?

This is how you do it. Tell the county what you want. Make them do it.

We deserve leaders who lead Dear Editor: During the COVID-19 pandemic, all of us across the world have looked to our leadership for accurate information, trusted instruction, and, honestly, some basic reassurance. I have noticed locally — both county-wide and city-wide —none of this. City officials have been strangely silent for the most part. While Daytona Beach issued a mask mandate on June 26 (followed quickly by New Smyrna Beach and DeLand), Ormond Beach issued a proclamation a week later—a suggestion regarding the use of masks, apparently not wanting to upset anyone.

The kits will be distributed at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center, located at 399 N. U.S. 1, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. To obtain a kit — which will contain items like masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, paper towels and cleaning products — businesses must present a business card indicating they are located in Volusia and sign that they received the kit. Each business can obtain up to two kits, a press release states.

Here are the locations that are still distributing masks: n Thursday, July 9: Ormond Beach/Holly Hill — Ormond Performing Arts Center, 339 N. US 1; and Deltona — The Center at Deltona, 1640 Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd. n Friday, July 10: Deland — Wayne G. Sanborn Activity and Events Center, 815 S. Alabama Ave. Funding for the kits was made possible via the county’s coronavirus relief funds.

These suggestions came long after a number of citizens complained about several local restaurants operating well over the 50% capacity mandated by Phase 2 of Florida’s reopening, a problem that has clearly contributed to the rapid and frightening spread of the virus.

To my knowledge, these complaints went totally ignored by elected officials. Why? Ormond Beach and Volusia County residents deserve leaders who lead, leaders who have the courage to speak up, leaders who let us know that they have our best interests at heart. I am not seeing evidence of this at all. This is why we need new leadership, real leadership. It’s time to vote people into office who are committed to leading and who have concern for all of their constituents rather than only a select few. Ormond Beach and Volusia County deserve change. We deserve better than what we’ve been getting.

HAVE TO GIVE CREDIT 10:05 a.m. — 1600 block of North U.S. 1 Fraud. A Palm Coast man called police following his roommate’s arrest after he noticed unauthorized uses on his credit card, which his roommate was supposed to be in possession of, but the charges occurred after she was arrested at a local gas station.

The roommate told police that she had last seen her wallet inside the man’s truck, which she drove to the gas station before she was arrested.

The vehicle was later towed, but when the man went to pick it up the next day, there was no mention of his roommate’s wallet. Once she got out of jail, the pair looked inside the truck but were unable to find her wallet.

The reporting officer then reviewed surveillance footage from one of the stores in which the card was attempted to be used, and spotted a suspect with a peculiar superherothemed tattoo. The roommate recognized him as the clerk from the gas station. The case is still ongoing.

PERFUME THIEF 9:17 a.m. — 200 block of East Granada Boulevard Larceny. After receiving a heads-up that an unidentified suspect had been stealing colognes and perfumes from pharmacy retail stores in the area, an employee at an Ormond Beach store decided to double-check their own product shelves and noticed that they, in fact, had several items missing.

He reviewed surveillance footage and found that the same suspect from the previous thefts had come into his store a few days before. The suspect disabled the lock on the cologne and perfume displays and stole over $3,000 worth of merchandise, according to the police report.

The employee, on behalf of the store, told police they wished to press charges.

JUNE 30

SIGN STEALER 9:21 a.m. — 300 block of North Ridgewood Avenue Larceny. A resident’s “Joe Biden for President” sign was stolen from her front yard, and the woman told police she suspected “Trumpers” were to blame.

Her mailbox had also been tampered with, according to the incident report.

The woman said the last time she saw the sign had been the

previous evening, and said that the sign was worth about $10, though she got it for free. She was unable to pinpoint exactly who might be responsible for the theft since no one had commented on the sign before.

She wished to pursue charges if a suspect is found.

Riviera Senior Living starts cautious return to normal life Riviera Senior Living hasn’t had any positive cases of COVID-19.

With zero positive cases of COVID-19 reported since March, Riviera Senior Living has started its reopening process.

On Monday, June 29, Riviera’s independent living residents returned to the dining room for dinner for the first time since COVID-19 began impacting the community in March. Lynn DeBrango, sales director at Riviera, said residents were sat down individually or in their respective couples at a table to allow for social distancing.

“While it may seem awkward, the residents have just been really thankful to return to a little bit of normal life,” DeBrango said.

The last few months have been very different for the 106 residents and staff at Riviera, which has both independent living units and is an assisted living facility. DeBrango said staff has found ways to cope and accommodate people despite the threat COVID-19 has on the older population.

Residents were asked to quarantine in their apartments, and before Riviera’s reopening began, meals were delivered straight to their units. Instead of riding a bus together to go grocery shopping, the activi-

ties department staff took on the roles of personal shoppers.

Entertainment for the residents was also modified, DeBrango said. Performers now set up around the outside of the building, rotating locations every 30 minutes so every resident can see the show.

“That way nobody is left out,” she said. “They can enjoy the live entertainment from the comfort of their patio and still remain safe.”

Reopening also means that Riviera is now allowing visitors for their independent living residents.

“It’s such a stressful time for our residents to separate from their families,” DeBrango said.

“They can’t have the visitors that they would normally have but with the opening this week, we have started what we call sunshine visits.”

These visits span 30 minutes and take place at Riviera’s porch. Visitors are asked to wear masks and stay 6 feet apart. If this is successful, DeBrango said they will begin sunshine visits for their assisted living residents too.

Staff has remained diligent in taking the necessary precautions to prevent any COVID-19 cases inside Riviera, she added, describing everyone as a large family.

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about the team here that our residents are their number one priority,” DeBrango said.

OVID-19 has disrupted life in many ways, and artists in Flagler and Volusia counties have found beauty in those disruptions.

“This was a real from-the-heart piece,” said Marilyn Leverton, of her sculpture “Quarantine.”

Leverton has been a sculpture artist for over 25 years and now creates art in a studio space at the Salvo Art Project in Bunnell.

“When everything shut down, I couldn’t see my grandkids, except through a window. It left me feeling heartbroken, because I couldn’t even touch them. Somehow seeing them at a distance was even worse.”

Leverton’s sculpture portrays a distressed family separated by a pane of glass.

“Creating this art has acted as a form of therapy for me,” continued Leverton. “People were in tears when they saw the piece, because everyone is going through the same thing and can relate.”

Her follow-up piece, “Back on the beach,” reflects her renewed optimism as life is slowly returning back to normal after the quarantine was lifted.

“The world just needs some beauty right now,” said J.J. Graham, founder of the Salvo Art Project. “It’s so easy to get into a dark place and cast an image to it, so it’s conflicting as an artist. Do I explore this dark place, or do I try to capture the beauty beyond it?”

This pandemic is unlike anything else we have ever seen, so I think we are all just figuring it out and navigating through this the best way we can.”

The Ormond Art Museum is doing its part by featuring local artists virtually, in a pandemic-inspired online exhibition.

Among the many artists featured in the exhibition are Ormond Beach’s Babz Lupoli and Harriet Blum.
