The Ormond Beach Police Department recently congratulated Officer Nicholas Stage for earning a bachelor’s degree in applied science in supervision management from Daytona State College. “You showed dedication to your education, while working full time,” OBPD wrote on its Facebook page. “This is not an easy feat.” A total of 48% of OBPD officers have earned an associate degree or higher, the post continues.
