BRIEFS Shed fire near Ormond kills 50-year-old man A 50-year-old man died near Ormond Beach on Sunday, Feb. 21, after the shed in which he was living caught fire. The fire was reported around 7:15 a.m. in the 100 block of Seville Street. Firefighters from Volusia County, Ormond Beach and Holly Hill responded and extinguished the flames. The man had been pulled from the doorway of the shed by a witness, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The fire appears to be an accident. Victim’s name is pending.
