Hold the extinguisher with the nozzle pointing away from you and pull the pin at the top of the extinguisher. This will break the tamper seal and release the locking mechanism.

PULL THE PIN: AIM AT THE BASE OF THE FIRE:

SQUEEZE THE HANDLE:

Squeeze the handle to release the extinguishing agent. Keep the extinguisher upright while you're using it.

SWEEP FROM SIDE TO SIDE:

Sweep the extinguisher from side to side until the fire is out Make sure to continue spraying the extinguisher even if the flames appear to be out, as there may still be hot spots that could reignite
