We are a collective of 10 students, for our latest collection at the Atelier Chardon savard we chose to base our work on two opposite styles, the after-war schoolboybmixed with 19th century underwear.
To the children, to the BONNET D’ANE, to the children in the back of the bus , to the school boys, to those who could not hold on their chairs, to the dyslexics, to the big chatters, the troublemakers, to the too shy, not enough talkative , who are along the walls to those put aside, mocked, harassed, those who the school never endured !
To the SALES GOSSES who grew up. This collection is for you ! No more imprisonment of school standards, the image of a perfect calm and measured. We shout out loud, SHOW YOUR FACE! Rebel, show them your underpants!

MOUNTING RANGE
STEP 1 : Pin and cut your pattern in the desired fabrics.
STEP 2 : Use a heat-sensitive pencil to place your marks on the fabric.
STEP 3 : Place a strip of cotton biai over the markers on the reverse side of the fabric.
STEP 4 : Fold both ends of the biai inwards for a nice finish, then stitch both sides of the biai with a flat stitcher. Leave the top and bottom open.
STEP 5 :
Pass two 1.5 m long ribbons through the tunnel created by the biai using a safety pin, then prick the top of the tunnel with a flat stitch to hold the ribbons in place.
STEP 6 : Cut a 4cmx4cm square of fusible webbing and stick it to the bottom of the tunnel.
STEP 7 : Using an M33 press, make a hole 1cm below the middle of the biai.
STEP 8 : Using an eyelet machine, place a gold eyelet in the hole.
STEP 9 :
Repeat steps 3 to 8 twice on both fabric panels, passing the ribbons through the eyelets to the right side of the garment. Keep them knotted to continue sewing.
STEP 10 : Close the two bottom sleeves by 80cm, using an overlocker.
STEP 11 : Take your ribbed edges and overlock the four corners to prevent them from unknitting, then close them with the overlock machine. To create a tube.
STEP 12 : Stitch the bottom of both sleeves with a flat stitcher and a huge stitch, gathering it to the size of your side edge.
STEP 13 : Assemble the side edge and the bottom of the sleeves by pleating four-quarter shirring on both openings, then overlock.
STEP 14 :
Fold both neck flaps flat, fold outwards twice along the two reference lines left earlier.
Pin in place, place both sides of garment on stockman, align and pin middle back.
STEP 15 : Overlock the middle back, making sure to catch the double flap of the collar in
STEP 16 :
Overlap the bottom of the garment with two needles to create a small overlap stitch on the entire bottom.
STEP 17 : Iron the garment and place on a hanger.
