THE LIQUID RESISTANT INTERLAYER PAPER MINIMIZES LIQUID DAMAGE CAUSED BY ALL TYPES OF LIQUIDS

Liquim is a paper-based product with a liquid resistant barrier that adheres to the fibres of the paper, making the interlayer significantly more resistant to liquid penetration.

It is resistant to different kinds of liquids, such as water, oil, pharmaceutical as well as different chemicals. The paper is FSC® MIX certified and is fully recyclable.

The Liquim interlayer paper can be used for multiple applications like bottles, cans, boxes, tissues, bags, and furniture.

Different types of products and packaging require different types of interlayers and the Liquim product is therefore available in three variants – Gold, Silver and Bronze.

Liquim ® GOLD

LEAKS

Liquim Gold has a liquid-resistant barrier and a double-sided, anti-slip coating. This provides the ultimate stability of your goods during storage and transportation.

Liquim Gold is ideal for applications such as big-bags, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals, where a firm grip between layers on a pallet is needed and where a leak in one unit often results in compromising the entire load – causing huge economical losses.

If a leak occurs in one of the items on the pallet, the liquid-resistant barrier of Liquim Gold will prevent the leak from spreading and thus reduce the damage significantly.

Liquim ® SILVER CONDENSATION

Liquim Silver is an interlayer paper with a liquid resistant barrier, an anti-slip coating on one side and the other side is regular linerboard.

Liquim Silver is especially useful for applications such as water bottles where condensation may occur frequently caused by climate- and seasonally changes during storage and transportation.

Liquim Silver does not reduce the emergence of condensation, it does however reduce the risk of collapsed pallets. Any appearance of condensation does not destroy the interlayer sheets – the paper fibres and the anti-slip function are preserved, thanks to the liquid-resistant barrier.

Liquim Silver is thus ideal in wet environments or where changeable temperatures causes condensation.

Liquim ® BRONZE

WET PALLETS

Liquim Bronze is a regular interlayer paper with a liquid resistant barrier and natural friction.

Liquim Bronze is the direct replacement for traditional PE linerboard, as both are very similar in application possibilities – it protects against splashes, dirt, and moisture e.g., from pallets. However, Liquim Bronze differs markedly from PE linerboard on one point in particular – it is free from plastic.

The liquid resistant barrier does not contain plastic material as opposed to polyethylene coated linerboard. It is thus the perfect substitute to your traditional PE-coated linerboards.

Liquim Bronze is ideal as base layer sheets, as the liquid resistant barrier prevents moisture from pallets from penetrating and thus damaging your products.
