Technique used: pyrography

This was my print development project, I was inspired by the process of fossil formation. I've used soldering iron to achieve that pyrography finish on canvas.

Material used : magazine paper, coffee,threads, feathers, gold metallic marker, plastic stars, ink pen

Technique used: collaging

She had stars in her eyes

And oceans in her mind; But she was just another caged bird, In search of free rein. But naïve girl didn't understand, Taming a sky it wasn't in her hand; She was meant to please the king

One day she got a chance

But the cost was her feathery arms And she fell from the cage, bleeding ruby red. Her dreams were shattered But she rise; As she was no longer A trapped life.

This artwork was inspired by a poem that I wrote a year ago, it's about inner peace/ultimate freedom and sacrifices one has to make in order to achieve it.

Kalpvriksha , also known as kalpataru, kalpadruma or kalpapadapa is a wish fulfilling divine tree in hindu mythology. It was originated during the samudra manthan or 'churning of the ocean ' and this was my imagination of what kalpvriksha might look like. Kalpvriksha is a divine tree that represents motherhood, fertility, creation, consciousness, strength and hope.

Material used : Air dry clay, bulb, electric wire, bulb holder, luminous pigment powder

Technique used: sculpting

Scared bat baby asks his mum: ‘ Mum, can you please turn on the dark I am afraid of these light monsters.’

This piece was inspired by an article , It was about a mummified monk fond perfectly preserved in Mongolia. Some spiritual leaders and senior monks believed that the monk was in rare state of meditation called 'TUKDAM' and he isn't dead. If the meditator can continue to stay in this meditative lotus position, he can become a Buddha.

Mind portal represent the bridge between consciousness and unconsciousness. Usually when a mind imagine or dream about something, it directly jumps in to the scenario but mind portal is a place where all dimensions connect.
