Doc Talk Redefining Endometriosis:

Beyond Dysmenorrhea and Delayed Diagnosis

Primo Italia (Hillside Village)

24590 Hawthorne Blvd. Torrance, CA 90505 Thursday, October 8th 6 p.m. Arrival 6:30 p.m. Dinner and presentation Reza Askari, MD, a fellowship-trained gynecologic surgeon specializing in endometriosis care, will discuss modern approaches to recognizing, diagnosing and treating endometriosis, with a focus on reducing diagnostic delays and improving patient outcomes.

Please join Dr. Askari for dinner and an educational discussion on improving the recognition and treatment of endometriosis. Endometriosis affects up to 10% of reproductive-age women, yet diagnosis is often delayed by four to 11 years. Many patients experience symptoms for years before receiving appropriate evaluation and treatment. This session will explore the multisystem presentation of endometriosis, review current noninvasive diagnostic strategies, including advanced imaging modalities, and discuss practical approaches to earlier clinical recognition and cross-specialty referral. Attendees will learn how timely diagnosis, multidisciplinary care and appropriate referral can improve outcomes for patients living with endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain.

Space is limited. RSVP by October 1st. Please scan the QR code or call 866-909-DOCS (3627) to reserve your place.
