a traveller's tale A magnificent story set on a simple, ancient premise; the travellers' tale. Sapphire's new menswear collection finds its place in the heart of a glorious summer. In the honey sun, the soft breeze, the lure of the glittering sea. It is nostalgic for the voyager, the one away from home, journeying full of stories to forever be told.

Night
For a night time and a more formal look, I paired the Nymphaea organza jacket with an emerald banarsi sari and a plain black crop top making the sari attire more modern and unique. I didn’t add any accessories to it and put my hair up so that the outfit gets all the attention! A Red lip, however, was absolutely necessary for this look!

DAWN TILL DUSK:
This look is the perfect combination of a formal, fuss-free summer outfit and would be perfect for an Eid Dinner. I love the feminine peplum cut with the matching cut-out flare pants. I added matching statement earrings, an envelope clutch and some neutral Louboutins to make the outfit more formal.
Night I love the pastel colours of the foliage peplum top! For a day time look, I paired it up with a plain cream pant suit for a statement look and added matching strappy heels. I would definitely be wearing this look to a lunch!

When the clock strikes 9:11 am, shivers run through everyone in the office as the sound of her stiletto footsteps and smell of a grande espresso enter the room. The woman is five feet of fury, 5'4 if we count her heels. When she enters the room the interns look away, the editors say their prayers and the writers struggle around the office to hide. Blair Channing has arrived. It was my second week on the job and I was her temporary secretary. I was quite sure she still didn't know my name but I learnt to respond to certain screams and cuss words, that was her way of calling me. I would sit outside her office waiting anxiously for her to call me in and before you know you would hear her "Son of a Bi" "Yes Ms Channing." I said as I ran in trying to get to her before she finished her sentence. "Wheres Tara?" "She's on maternity leave remember, I've been assigned to you until she comes back." I replied knowing that this wasn't the answer she wanted to hear. "Right, I forgot, wait what was your name again?" "its Brand-" “Never mind." She said as she cut me off, as if my name was a waste of her time "Get me the month's expected sales report and tell Ruby to send me the draft of this month's issue." "Yes Ms Channing." I replied as I ran out of the room.

She had a knack for quoting movies and then saying its name. You can say whatever you want about the woman, but she knew two things: fashion and films. It was an odd combination but it was ever-present around her, from her office walls to her coffee mugs to her magazine, all were inspired by movies. Even when she argued or told one of the employees off she would throw in a quote from movie. "Where's the damn sales report?" She screamed. "I put the files on your desk Ms Channing." I replied hoping I hadn't messed up. "It's not here," she said as she went through the papers " C'mon kid, show me the money-Jerry Maguire" I checked the files I had in my hand and handed her the report. "Thank you" She said in the most sarcastic tone possible "Go to the nearest Starbucks and get me a cup of coffee and it should be on my desk before I get back from my meeting and you're going to have to stay in late tonight." " I do? I was actually hoping to get off early today, my girlfriend is coming to visit" Offended by my reply she said "Listen up Dorothy, this isn't Kansas city, this is the real world, my world and when I say you have to stay late all I want to hear is yes
THE DEVIL QUOTES PRADA
Ms Channing do I make myself clear?" "Yes Ms Channing." I said with my head down as I rushed to get out of the room. It was the 4th time in two weeks I was staying on late at the office but sadly this night it was only me and the boss. I tried to avoid her as much as I can. I stepped out to the balcony to call my girlfriend and have a cigarette when I heard a plant pot break against the window, I ran inside to see a pissed of Ms Channing pacing in her office cursing in the air. "Is Everything okay Ms Channing?" "Huston, We have a problem- Apollo 13. It's all wrong it's all screwed.” "What happened?" "Here's the thing kid, keep your friends close and your enemies closer-The Godfather. That little minx Ruby went under my nose and stabbed me in the back, you know the meeting I had to attend, the company that represents the magazine wants me to step down from the post of Chief Editor and want to replace me with Ruby and the draft has to go out by sunrise tomorrow and it's utter BS. If this issue doesn't kill it's gonna be the end of me" She began to cry and the scary and threatening Blair Channing finally humanised. I tried to console her but I was to afraid that I would say something stupid so I said the one thing she would want hear at a time like this. "Ms Channing, there's no point in crying. No one puts baby in a cornerFlashDance" In the midst of those tears a smile appeared and the smile turned into hysteria. "Brandon, you know why I always quote movies?" I shook my head, I was speechless to the fact she actually knew my name "I always wanted to be a film writer, I hoped that someday, someone will quote me" "Then why didn't you do it?” “You can’t handle the truth!” She shouted at me. I pulled back and said” I'm sorry, I didn’t know it was that big of a deal” “Relax kid, I just always wanted to quote that line, jeez get with the program, here’s what happened, I got into this job when I was young, almost your age and I was good at it so I stayed and now that I might lose it all, I'm beginning to regret it, I guess we should
call it day, not like we can do anything. Ill close up, you can go home, tell your girlfriend I said sorry for holding you up.” That's exactly what I wanted but seeing her in that state of disappointment and remorse, I couldn't leave. "You know what, we're not giving up that easy." "We only have 3 hours before I have to send this and no one is picking up their phone, even if they did, no one wants to help me" I couldn't see her like this so I got up and said "I don’t want excuses. I know what you’re up against. We’re all of us up against something. So you better make up your mind, because until you have the balls to look me straight in the eye and tell me this is all you deserve, I am not letting you fail. Even if that means coming to your house every night until you finish the work. I see who you are. Do you understand me? I can see you. And you are not failing.” "wait isn't that a quote from freedom writers?" "Yes, but that doesn't matter, we can do this. They want an issue? we're gonna give them an issue they can't refuse" "I know you're trying to help but this isn't a movie, this story doesn't have a happy ending" "They may take our jobs, but they will never take our freedom Ms Channing" "I finally realise, how annoying I must sound when I quote movies, but you're right we can do this. You go through the photos and find the best ones for the pictorials, I’ll finish the article" "Yes Boss." I sped through the door when she called me "And Brandon, It's time to seize the day” We worked all night and somehow managed to send in the issue to the publishers before the deadline. A week later when the issue came out, it tanked in the market. It had too many spelling and grammatical errors and Ms Channing was forced to step down. On her last day she came to my desk and gave me a copy of the final magazine she worked on with a message inside which read “I came here to quote movies and kick ass, and I'm all out of quotes.” "So what's next Ms Channing?" I asked her as I walked her to the elevator. She took a deep breath and entered the elevator, she turned around, looked me straight in the eye and said "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn- Casablanca" 2017
