Travelling is great fun. You get to explore a new place, meet new people and get wiser! We want to know more and will share with you exciting travel stories from a few special people in our section, planes, trains & automobiles! Where did you choose to go and why? We went to Baku, Azerbaijan and Tbilisi, Georgia for a vacation. My friends were going on their annual holidays together, and this time I decided to join them. Tell us the most delicious meal you tired? We always eat local food so as to get an idea of the flavors of the country we visit. On our very first day in Baku, we ate lunch at a traditional restaurant, Nargis. Among the dishes we tried was one called Saj. It was simply divine â€“ served on a tawa with red-hot coal pieces placed under it which kept the mix of flavorful vegetables and chicken pieces delightfully warm.

Tell us the most exciting thing you did during your trip? Our trip had been chalked out for us by a travel agent, complete with all the touristy stops but the highlight of our trip by far was an unscheduled stop we took to see Heydar Aliyev Cultural Centre, the most beautiful piece of modern architecture imaginable. Any tips? Make sure to have a knowledgeable guide with you in Baku â€“ it makes the entire experience of visiting all the sites that much more pleasurable.
