Be Bold, Be yourself!

Bored of wearing that “No-Makeup-Look” all this Summer? Now it’s time to get your makeup game strong, with bold and dark trends hot from the latest international Fashion weeks. You have all the right to illuminate your face, add on highlight for that extra oomph, wear the darkest of all lip-shades and blackout your eyes to be the boldest version of yourself this fall!

Get the Glow: Illuminate your skin this Fall/Winter. Better choose Peachy and champagne shades, make that glow as natural as you can, avoid the bronzers though. My personal favourite is the Shimmering Skin Perfector by Becca. It’s a must-have glamour dust to keep in your make up bag.

Gothic Lips: Pinks… reds, nah! Time to get bolder, with your lip-shade. This Fall wear the blackest lipshades, be it blackcurrant or that formidably, dark, red. Tip: add that gothic touch to any of your bold shades by outlining and mixing it with a black liner pencil, dab on your favourite shimmery gloss, and you are good to go! This trend was perfectly carried by Deepika Padukone, during the Lakme Fashion Week and I loved it.

Glitter On: This is the time to bring in all the shine and attention to your gorgeous self!

Glitters are in, bonus is that there is no restriction for their use, you may add it onto your cheeks, under your eyes, line your brow-bone! Go girls have fun with glitters and shine on! We spotted our very own style Icon Meesha Shafi donning this trend during one of her Coke Studio season 9 performances.

Eyes Blackout: Time to grab your ol’-black-Hashmi-Kajal! This has to be our personal favourite trend. Line your eyes inside out with a smooth and greasy Black kohl liner and let your eyes be a mystery, unsolved!
