I paired this blue number with pastel blue tights as to the details of the cape. Moreover, the sparkly heels did all the talking so I chose not to accessorise and kept things simple yet striking.

I decided to give the lilac kurta a college casual twist. It can be worn fancy but this is one more way to rock it! Capri's, sneakers and a high pony tail. Defines comfort and style.

The kaftan has my heart! I didn't want to take away the attention from it. I paired it with grey tights and green heels, both shades complimenting the print and straight middle parted hair with some dainty golden arm candy. This look made me look taller and slimmer.

Makeup mishaps fixed
cakey foundation, blush overkill, clumpy eyelashes - we’ve all been there! here are some fast fixes to avert the most common makeup mistakes. CAKEY FOUNDATION Ever had this problem where you apply your foundation only to find out that it looks heavy and you don’t have any other solution to fix it without having to wash your face. Well, I have you covered! Use a makeup wipe or a slightly damp sponge and dap it over your face very lightly to remove any excess foundation. It will also help it blend out further. If you still have issues, chances are that you didn’t get an appropriate foundation according to your skin type. CREASED CONCEALER Always choose a concealer which has a thin consistency because it will be less likely to crease. But what if in the middle of the day you notice your concealer creasing? Use your ring finger to smooth out the concealer and set it lightly with a powder. Always have a compact powder in your bag because you never know when you might need it. HARSH BROWS We all love the dramatic, Instagram brows but it’s not always necessary that they flatter our face. Always choose a brow filler which is either lighter than your natural brow colour or matches perfectly. By filling your brows with gentle strokes, this will give you fuller looking brows. Sometimes when we’re done with all our makeup we realise that our brows are slightly overdone. In this case, use a spoolie to comb through the hair to help soften the look and make it look more realistic. BLUSH OVERKILL Accidentally going overboard with blush happens to the best of us! Tone it down by using a brush which has a bit of leftover foundation on it. To avoid applying too much blush, use a fluffy, angled brush which grabs the colour evenly and then dab it on the back of your hand to remove the excess amount. CLUMPY EYELASHES Smooth out clumpy mascara by applying makeup remover on a cue tip and then wiggling it across the base of the lashes to soften the dried mascara and then roll up to separate the clumps. Remember to always change your mascara after every 3 months! My personal favourites are from L’oreal. AREESHAKAMRANN.WORDPRESS.COM 40
