They keep you focused, pick you up when you are down and are always there which is simply priceless. You may be hating them sometimes but that’s only because you love them. We get two best friends to tell us what they love and hate about each other.

Travelling is great fun. You get to explore a new place, meet new people and get wiser! We want to know more and will share with you exciting travel stories from a few special people in our section, planes, trains & automobiles! Where did you choose to go and why? I went to Manchester, England. I go every year in the summer. It’s sort of our fixed family summer spot. It has to be my favourite place in the world. Who did you travel with? This was a complete family vacation. Where did you stay? Manchester has great places to stay. We stayed in the heart of Macintosh Village, just behind Oxford Road which is literally seven minutes from the city centre. What are the best shopping spots there? Market Street is a great place to start. It has all the major

stores that you could possibly want to visit and connects to Deans gate which has some great restaurants. The Arndale centre is right in the middle of the street with every shop you could think of. There are also weekly markets in the summer where you can pick up great trinkets. Trafford centre is the second largest shopping mall in the UK and is a great day out. If you’re feeling a little adventurous, I’d recommend venturing into the Northern Quarter where you can find several great independent fashion stores, quirky record shops and hybrid vintage stores. Suggest some amazing restaurants there? Manchester is a food lover’s heaven. For modern British food, The French and Manchester House are fantastic choices. Australasia is another great place for Pan-Asian

cuisine. Deans gate is lined with great little bars and café including a great Tapas bar as is Spinning fields. If you venture to the other side of the centre, the Northern Quarter is lined with adorable little cafés serving the best breakfast, cakes, tea and scones you’ve ever had. You can truly travel without the culinary world without leaving the city. There’s something for everyone.

Finally, any tips? It rains a lot. Always keep an umbrella on you. The weather is unpredictable so it goes from sunny and warm to really cold in minutes. Just be prepared.

Suggest places for a perfect night out Manchester's nightlife is as varied as it is exciting. Canal Street is a great place to start your night with a combi-

What can you do over there to relax and unwind? While Manchester is a busy city, you can always find hidden places to unwind. Sackville Gardens is the perfect place to relax with friends, sit in the sun or read a book. The spa at the Midland hotel is another place to relax and clear your mind. Castle field in the afternoon is peaceful and serene. Frankly, even a walk along the banks of the River Irwell at night will calm your nerves.

travel diaries

Tell us about the sights no one should miss out on If you’re a fan of football, then definitely take a tour of Old Trafford. The John Ryland’s library is a Late-Victorian neoGothic building and is absolutely gorgeous. Plus, there’s always an exhibition on. The Museum of Science and Industry is a great place for the whole family. The Imperial War Museum is another great place to visit as is the Manchester Art Gallery. Manchester Town Hall, Manchester Cathedral, Albert Square and Castle field should be on every visitor’s list. Lastly, if you can, go and spend the day at Heaton Park. You will not regret it.

nation of bars, clubs, restaurants and green spaces set alongside the canal. Gorilla on Whitworth Street West plays great live music and Dean’s gate Locks is home to some of the most vibrant and popular bars and café in the city. If you’re looking for something a little more low-key, Cloud 23 at the Hilton is a fantastic cocktail and champagne bar located on the 23rd floor with breath-taking views of the city.

The Full Moon could bring an opportunity to splurge and enjoy yourself. Whenever influences in your solar chart show just how busy and focused you've been lately, you can benefit from giving yourself some leeway. When it comes to talking about business matters and being productive, be sure to inquire about details and read the fine print. Don't leave anything to chance or you could lose out. Finally, romance could be in the air, with a special date proving very enjoyable.

One way to figure out what to do at the start of the week is to consider what someone you admire might do in your same shoes. Or, better yet, find someone you admire and just ask them. The advice you get will be good, but you may not necessarily be ready to implement it. Wednesday you're torn between sprinting ahead and taking the slow route -- a somewhat disorienting state to be in. Then, Thursday, you find someone else who totally relates. On Friday, sex appeal, luxury and enjoyment are big themes. No wonder the weekend finds you shopping.

You may be spoiled for choice when it comes to golden opportunities. Whether you're looking for more leisure options, a way to succeed with a love interest, or a chance to travel, take your pick. You may not see eye to eye with a boss or authority figure and need to be careful how you interact with him or her. It's better to be honest than tell a little white lie, as you could be found out. Otherwise, the world's your oyster!

The start of the week can be an excellent time for a party, celebration, or get-together. Invite friends, provide good food, and have a ball. On another note, you may continue to be busy on the work front, which could put a lot of pressure on you. You may be accepting conditions or demands that aren't in your best interests. If so, discuss such issues with someone who can help you and provide relief. Leisure options also beckon and can prove therapeutic.

The shift in focus to your relationship sector encourages teamwork and cooperation. If you've been tempted to go it alone on a key project, the cosmos is encouraging you to rethink. Joining with others may make tasks not only easier but more enjoyable, too. Jupiter's continued presence in your communication zone can make you very optimistic about future plans. If you're discussing the development of a business idea, however, give particular attention to potential costs.

Don't feel you have to push yourself too hard to meet your goals and targets. You may be in a competitive mood, and this could last for some weeks, but it would be wise to pace yourself. With just a little planning you may find a way to create a helpful balance that allows you to work and play. Discussions with a partner or family member could create more confusion than clarity unless you can keep a key discussion on track.

With Mars in your sector of creativity, the coming weeks can be a golden opportunity to showcase your skills and show the world what you can do. You often excel at design work or anything else with an artistic or creative bias. If you can use technology to help get your message out to the right people, you could do very well. It's also possible that you could be made aware of a talent you're not using to the fullest.

The focus continues on your home and family sector, and it could stir up a desire to relocate, particularly if this has been on your mind. Equally, you may feel moved to remodel your place so it offers more space and options. You could find that talking with someone on your wavelength fills you with all kinds of ideas you hadn't considered, and some of them may be relevant to your intentions. Before you commit to anything, check the details.

sagittarius capricorn 23November/21December

When you have time to sit back and reflect, you may become aware of an idea that has been waiting in the wings. Perhaps it's relevant to a project or situation you're currently facing and something you can make use of. Don't feel you have to discuss it with family or close friends, though. They may have different perspectives, and their input could cause you to doubt yourself. Follow your instincts on this. If it feels right, go for it.

You might decide to give someone the benefit of the doubt, which is a good thing. The upside may be that this person feels moved to help you out of a tricky situation. What you give can come back to you this week in a way that's most helpful. When it comes to finances, however, it might be wise to update your budget. You might earn a lot more, but you may need to spend more, too, which needs to be taken into account.

The presence of Mars in your sign could mean that you feel more restless than usual. You may be seeking excitement and opportunities to explore ideas with a novel twist. The same can be true of relationships. You might be drawn to others who think along original lines. The same old, same old could seem boring unless you can find a way to make it interesting. When you find an idea that excites you, you'll likely stick with it to the end.

Today you might toy with the idea of publishing, exhibiting, or otherwise making public whatever creative innovations you've been working on, Pisces. Spiritual information could come your way from afar, perhaps through friends or a group with which you're affiliated. Inspiration of all kinds could pop in and out of your head, so it might be best to write down your thoughts.
