This is my favourite look! This pearl encrusted shirt and trousers look great worn together and would work well as separates also. I wore some colourful statement shoes and bright lipstick to add a pop of colour to my white ensemble. mehak elahi speaks to the COO of the lahore social, natasha monnoo over a scrumptious meal. she gives us the insights of the newly revamped restaurant, updated menu & her day to day activities! Tell us your day-to-day responsibilities being the COO of TLS? Lol they're quite mundane! I have a daily meeting prior to opening in the morning. I see the service through Lunch and dinner! Handle guest reviews and complaints! Overlook social media and make sure operations are going smoothly. -yup that's all in one day all day everyday! (Though I do take breaks whenever I get lazy :p) How and Why did you decide to pursue your career in the restaurant business? My business partner Sohail already owned a restaurant and I loved food so we decided to partner up and make this place a success. (Insha'Allah) You and Sohail Salahuddin make a fabulous team! Tell us about your team spirit? We just take over each other's responsibilities when the other is traveling or precommited ! This is normally for catering as our in house management team is top notch. What is the best & worst part about being the COO? Best: the feeling you get after a great service and making
sure your staff is happy with you and the management Worst: the day to day pressure but it's worth it at the end! Do you feel like there is a lot of competition with lots of new restaurants opening up? There will always be competition in every field but you just need to keep your eye on the prize and believe in what you are offering and providing to your customers. The Lahore Social's revamped space and new menu is the talk of the town these days. What made you do so? There is always room for improvement! We loved our decor when we started but as time went by we ourselves wanted change. More importantly our customers wanted change so we gave them what they wanted! Tell us a little about the sleek interior & minimalistic design of the restaurant? Whose idea was it? Sohail and I have been blessed with super talented families. Between all of us we chose the new interior. We wanted to bring the place together, create some life, add

a rustic feel with the mirrors and make it more homely! We kept the colour safe very clean and neat as the floors pop out colour! Who did the interior of the restaurant? N/A What new dishes have been added to the elaborate menu? Any specialities? We have added burgers, sandwiches, grilled salmon and much much more! We love them all but cannot get enough of the Italian bread pudding.

Which dishes do you swear by? The chocolate log is our own creation! Fair warning it's very very rich chocolate but we swear by it! Give us 3 tips for running a successful restaurant? Love for food, faith in yourself but most importantly Pray Pray Pray! Our readers would like to know a little about you? Where are you most likely to be found on weekends? At The Lahore Social! :)

Your job revolves around food. Do you eat TLS food on daily basis? I eat TLS food so much that now I swap between staff food and restaurant food just to give my tastebuds a change of environment ! Any advice you'd like to give to a junior you, who would like to step into the same field? Know your numbers! Dream big but start small! Have 10 GREAT things to serve rather than 20 mediocre ones! Lastly, Where do you see TLS in another 5 years? In 5 years I hope to see the customer base of TLS to be a many if not more than we have today! Our goal is to keep improving for our customers how and when they want and we devote ourselves into doing so!
