Take the time to honor and listen to your partner's needs and values. We asked some of our favorite married couples for some rules of marriage and heres what they have to say.

I think the basis of a strong and healthy relationship is to always be growing as individuals!! It's imperative to constantly invest in ourselves as people because only when we keep growing as people can we also grow as a couple!!!

In our decade long relationship, NK and I have grown as professionals, as individuals and consequently as a couple! It's much easier to be happy in your married life as a couple when you are happy in your individual lives.

Be independent and give each other space for personal development, Be a good listener and there is no need to be reactive!, Communicate know your partner’s ‘Love Language’ - spend quality time together, Balance - divide responsibilities and cooperate if your spouse needs help, Look for the soft emotion and respect eachother’s decisions and wishes, Do not be a control freak. Trust is the key! Travel together and explore the world.

No relationship is perfect all the times.

But in a healthy relationship is when both people feel good in it, together most of the time! Every relationship asks for more than just attraction. It takes a lot of hard work, patience, love and both parties to be willing to make an effort for each other.

My only advice to the couples is to take the bond seriously with strong commitment. It helps in establishing the fact that relationships only remain afloat if they are based on truth and mutual respect for one another. Compromise is very much part of it

Mutual respect and support for each other is essential in maintaining a healthy relationship. The most important thing is to love each other, communicate and be able to discuss everything.

Be honest, kind and compassionate. Nobody is perfect. Life tends to become very busy especially with kids, so we always try to spend quality time together which helps us move forward in a positive way.

You need to stick around through thick or thin No matter how tough the situation gets, if the relationship is strong you can get through everything.

Did you stumble upon your career or was it something that you always wanted?

I pretty much grew up in the salon watching my mother work. The more time I spent at work, the more I wanted to be a part of it until eventually there was nothing I saw myself doing more than being a part of the industry and to make a change to how this business works!

What was your “aha!” moment?

When I was studying beauty therapy and aesthetics in London, I realized there’s a science behind the field that I thoroughly enjoyed. To an outsider it might seem all superficial but there’s so much more to it on so many dimensions!

What are the top 3 things you cherish in your life?

My family, my legacy and my team.

What is #1 thing that is yet to be ticked off your bucket list?

Learning how to scuba!

What does nobody tell you about being the boss?

How to switch off and disconnect from the role when you need to.

Name one boss lady that you admire and how she still inspires you?

My mother; her resilience and her strength.

Did you ever consider or experience a career Describe a day in your life. change?

My days starts 630am, Get my daughter ready No! However I felt many times to for school, drop her and stop over to diversify our operations and every meet my mother! 8 This week Team Paperazzi headed over to the newly opened The Kitchen (two blocks down the previous one) in Lahore to try their newly introduced dishes and desserts. From the finger licking good mains to the melt in the mouth desserts to the new location’s vibe everything was top notch.
