sara rohale asghar Fleur de lis (Lily Flower) draws its inspiration from the historic association with French crown royalty. It was a recurring pattern employed in religious, political and dynastic artistry.

Traditionally it stood as a symbol of hope, a new lease of life and faith. These ancient attributes hold particular relevance in the challenge-stricken times of today.

This Asian couture collection is a modern spin on the ancient aesthetic of flower extravagance.

It is my endeavor to present the larger than life ornamentation and silhouettes associated with royal lineage married with our timeless Asian tradition.

Did you stumble upon your career or was it something that you always wanted?

It’s something I’ve wanted to do since I was in high school. I did my first professional course when I was in 9th grade.

What was your “aha!” moment?

The first award nomination is always special, and is a great external validation of all the years of hard work.

Who has been the greatest inspiration in your life?

My father - he spent his entire life working hard to take care of the family. I try and live up to his work ethic.

When was the time you felt completely discouraged and how did you push through it?

When you initially start working, professional models can sometimes give you a tough time, with experience you learn to deal with them all, even celebrities.

What was the best advice that your mentor gave you?

Never stop learning.

What are the top 3 things you cherish in your life?

My family, my cats and my work.

Who is Amanat Ali? Amanat Ali is someone who is very passionate about music and singing. My mission in life isn’t merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and of course some style.

Describe yourself in three words?

Well, hilarious, intellectual & multi-talented.

What inspired you to be a singer?

My ancestors were my true inspiration as I belong to a family background of well-known names of the music industry. I heard them since my child38

Yes! Not one but many exciting projects are on their way this year; in fact I have planned various projects for the years ahead as well. Stay tuned to my social forums for all the updates!

What was the best advice you were given?

The advice that gave me goosebumps was by the Bollywood Superstar, Shahrukh Khan, we were discussing music when he said “Don’t compete with others, be a competitor with your own self. “ I feel like that’s the best advice I’ve ever got!

Who is your mentor in the industry or anyone you look up to?

All the music maestros, Madam Noor Jahan, Sir Mehdi Hassan, Sir Mohammad Rafi, Sir Kishore Kumar,Madam Lata Mangeshkar and the one and only Ustaad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, that I have grown up listening to.

This inspiration led to my first ever performance on stage when I was only 6 years old, that day I realized that I am blessed with the best teachers!

Firstly. Thank you Paperazzi for having me, you guys have always been rocking with your magazine. For your followers, I would really like to say respect Pakistan, respect yourself, your surroundings and support Pakistani Artists/Celebrities.

Has it always been your dream?

Yes, of course. This dream has made me do as much effort and struggle to improve myself till date.

Do you ever see yourself doing anything else?

Maybe acting but nothing other than music would ever be my first priority when it comes to my career.

Where did you stay?

We went to Dubrovnik, Hvar and Split. In Dubrovnik, definitely stay in the Old Town because that’s where all the interesting sights are.

There are beautiful narrow streets and small cafes there, and its also one of the famous locations of my favorite show, Game of Thrones

planes, trains & automobiles

Travelling is great fun. You get to explore a new place, meet new people and get wiser! We want to know more and will share with you exciting travel stories from a few special people in our section, planes, trains & automobiles!

Best food: Try oysters and risotto in the local restaurant Kamenica. A personal favorite dish is paĹĄticada (a stewed beef dish in a special sauce), and of course, local olive oil is a must.

Go to Lapad at Pantarul, they have a creative way of using local ingredients. Magellan, Nishta (vegetarian), and Shizuku (Japanese cuisine) are also on my favorite list.

And as for cafes, I’m a fan of Buzz and Art Cafe.
