Did you stumble upon your career or was it something that you always wanted?

I always had high aspirations, as a child I would imagine myself becoming a part of Vogue NY. The very reason why I went for a course at F.I.T (Fashion Institute of Technology in Newyork). The experience was overwhelming, I never thought of ending up in PR since this sector was not entirely developed in Pakistan by the time I was graduating.

However, I landed a job at a PR company and worked there for a couple of years and then decided it's time I start a PR set up of my own.

What was your “aha!” moment?

My very first event which turned out to be a huge success was the moment when i knew i was ready to take over the world of PR. Who has been the greatest inspiration in your life?

My sisters have always inspired me with their dynamic personalities. Secondly, Rehan has not only influenced me but also inspired me through his kind action.

Whether it’s building a school for the deserving or setting up a marathon to raise funds for the poverty stricken ones.

When was time you felt completely discouraged and how did you push through it?

Listening to the elderly flood me with questions on my motherhood when I was not only studying but also raising a son, was indeed discouraging but I never lost hope and took it as a challenges to push through and prove myself.

What does nobody tell you about being the boss?

One has to be very persistent and patient in order to succeed and when it comes to being your own boss, you get no off days.

Name on boss lady that you admire and how she still inspires you?

I have always looked up to Oprah Winfrey since I was 5.

I've been watching her shows since forever and she still continues to inspire me in countless indescribable ways.

Describe a day in your life Getting up early in the morning to get my son ready for school, then I take a short nap and later nurse my little one. Followed by the usual work at office, keeping up with the events in the "LISTENING TO evenings, then I get back home, unwind, eat, sleep and repeat.

FLOOD ME WITH QUESTIONS ON MY MOTHERHOOD WHEN I WAS NOT ONLY STUDYING BUT ALSO RAISING A SON, WAS INDEED DISCOURAGING BUT I NEVER LOST HOPE."

What was the best advice that your mentor gave you?

Once you've taken a decision, stand by it and work towards it.

What are the top 3 things you cherish in your life?

Sisterhood, my family and my ability to stay positive throughout the given circumstances.

What is #1 thing that is yet to be ticked off your bucket list?

Complete this sentence: To me, a #BossLady is…”

One who is not afraid to make her own decisions. She leads by her actions and is able to inspire people around her in positive ways.

What did you learn from your biggest failure?

I don’t consider any situation as a failure.

I take them all as valuable lessons of life.

And I've learnt that if one door closes, another opens and is always better because God always knows best.

Which world leader would you most like to have dinner with?

Imran Khan! I would like to even work with him to develop opportunities for the young Pakistanis and even the ones abroad so they can travel to Pakistan and explore the beauty that our country holds.

What advice would you give to young girls out there who have dreams and goals like yours?

They should focus on achieving their goals with a vision.

Usually young girls are devoid of vision which is very important.
