How old are you and where are you from?

I turned 24 this September. I was born in Karachi, where most of my extended family lives but me and my parents moved to Lahore couple of years ago.

How did you start modeling?

I always wanted to be a model but I was too young to pursue it as a career then but Guddu Shani helped me through the journey and that’s how I started.

What was your first big break in the industry?

My first big break was my Television Commercial for a telecom.

What is your dream modeling job?

My dream modeling job would be shooting with Ranbir Kapoor and my all-time favorite photographer, Mario Testino.

How do you deal with all the travelling that is required for this job? How do you cure jet lag?

Being a model, I have to travel a lot for fashion campaigns and the schedule is crazy at times. It becomes hard for me to leave my baby behind but I still try and schedule the dates in a way that I achieve most of the work and don’t have to stay away from home much.

However, I do try to sleep a lot to cure the jet lag.

When you’re not busy working what are the things you like to do?

I mostly prefer lazing around while I watch Netflix. I also take my daughter out on my free days or dine out with family and friends.

Who is your favorite make-up artist and why?

Well, I have a long list of make-up artists that I love but my top three choices would be Nabila, Babloo and Omayr Waqar for red carpet looks. I think they are the masters of their work.

What is the best outfit you have ever worn?

That’s a difficult one but I loved the outfit I wore at Lux Style Awards earlier this year. The dress was made by a Lebanese designer, Ezra Couture, and it was styled by Rao Ali Khan.

If you weren’t a model what would you do?

I would have been a pilot; I always had a fascination for it.

What’s your favorite snack?

Fries.

What are your plans for the future?

I will continue my modeling career, along with a few acting projects that are in the pipeline.

What international designer would you want to model for?

BALMAIN for sure .
