Travelling is great fun. You get to explore a new place, meet new people and get wiser! We want to know more and will share with you exciting travel stories from a few special people in our section, planes, trains & automobiles!

Where did you choose to go and why?

We chose to go to Turkey because it was simply beautiful.

It has history, perfect night life, beautiful views and an easy visa.

Without a doubt, Nusret's (salt bae) steak house is a must try.

The first bite of the steak will tell you that salt bae deserves the respect. The second place I recommend is Big Yellow Taxi in Antalya, if you are into sheesha, cigars and burgers with nice songs.

Who did you travel with?

I was with my childhood buddies. Few of them have moved out of Pakistan but we make sure to at least have one annual trip so we can insult each other and have a crazy time together.

Where did you stay?

We stayed in two cities; Istanbul (ofcourse) and Antalya Suggest some amazing restaurants there?

Tell us about sites no one should miss out on?

Topkapi palace has preserved history as they have Moses' (AS) stuff displayed. In Dolmabahce one can relive how the Sultan would have lived his life. Bosphorus cruise is the perfect night cruise and you can see a lit up Istanbul. Ortokoy has perfect Turkish tea and live music by the river. Lastly Old town in Antalya it’s a mix of food, shopping and history in one place

Suggest places for a perfect night out?

In Istanbul one must visit Vogue (rooftop) and Ortokoy (for the perfect Bosphorus view) While in Antalya any cafe with live music in old town with a good cigar is a great experience.

What can you do over there to relax and unwind?

If your sense of fun is to relax, then Antalya Ramada is the place. Pool and Cohiba (cigar) with a perfect sea view following a massage/Turkish bath can prepare you for another year of Lahore's hectic work life.

Any Tips?

Read on the historical places before you visit them. Moreover be as cheap as possible when bargaining. They can slash off the prices to half. Also do not take your partner to Turkey if you want them to keep thinking that you are good looking (Turkish people are simply gorgeous)
