Where did you stay?

We stayed at the Holiday Inn at Saint-Germain-des-Prés which is part of the historic quarters of Paris with its quintessential tiny winding streets and Parisian side walk cafes and a 10minute walk to the Seine.

What were the best shopping spots there?

I didn’t do much shopping. But I made sure to visit some

local Parisian boutiques which were just exquisite. Beneton Graveour because I’m a stationary fanatic, Merci which had everything Parisian under its roof and Shakespeare & Co. if you’re a book lover like me.

Suggest some amazing restaurants there?

Parisian food is divine but the ritual of having food in a Parisian café is even better. I made sure I went to Les Deux Magots (amazing steak) because of its literary & artistic associations -It was a regular spot for Hemingway, Picasso and Camus to name a few. I also loved ES on the left bank, with its cool minimal Japanese-French fusion cuisine. I would also recommend Le Jules Verne on top of the Eiffel Tower for the food and the view! And finally Il Gelato Del Marchese

Suggest places for a perfect night out Moosa and I aren’t wild party people so I’d suggest a quite dinner at a café at Montmartre and listening to street music afterwards while watching Paris from afar. Perfect night out.

What can you do over to relax and unwind Go to a beach vacation maybe? Paris for your honeymoon means exploring the city together which is the best experience. Trust me, when in Paris you don’t want to relax. You just want to absorb the Parisian air.

Finally any tips There’s a lot of walking (that’s the best way to see the city) Tell us about the sights no one should so never try to take the challenge of walking in heels, take comfortable sneakers and don’t forget your adventure spirit, miss out on that’s a must!

Paris is so grand and awe-inspiring and there is so much to see everywhere that it’s hard to miss out on the culture.

Apart from the usual Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Notre Dame etc, I would recommend Musée d'Orsay (from the beauxArts railway station building to the impressionist artefacts it boasts), Pompidou Centre for the architecture and modern art and Montmartre which was so beautiful and the perfect place to go in the evening to catch a glimpse of the city of lights. for the best ice cream and sorbets in Paris!
