Government is paying full attention to education of children in Pakistan and wishes to start pre-one classes in schools to provide a strong educational foundation for children, said Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training (MoFEPT) Rana Tanveer Hussain at the groundbreaking ceremony of Center of Excellence for Early Childhood Development (ECD) at the Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) yesterday(Thursday) The Minister said that the establishment of the ECD center is a commendable initiative of Allama Iqbal Open University and congratulated the university administration on this achievement This center is being established with the collaboration of Rupani Foundation

It is pertinent to mention here that two-day International Conference on Early Childhood Development (ECD) held at Allama Iqbal Open University on 22, 23 February Speakers and scholars discussed various challenges faced in the implementation of early childhood education programs and gave suggestions to overcome them The objective of the conference was to create awareness about the importance of early childhood development The conference concluded with recommendations to promote the mission of ECD further rowing more expensive This is a delicate balancing act for the SBP, as it seeks to control inflation while also encouraging economic activity Pakistan has faced high inflation rates in recent months due to a combination of factors, including supply chain disruptions caused by COVID-19, higher commodity prices, and energy tariffs A rise in interest rates could help to cool inflation, but it could also have a negative impact on businesses and consumers who are already struggling due to the pandemic Therefore, the SBP's decision is crucial for Pakistan's economic recovery, and it will be closely watched by stakeholders across the country
