PTI cries foul after reports of acceptance of NA resignations surfaced
PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday cried foul after reports regarding National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf accepting the resignations of more PTI lawmakers emerged on media
NA officials stated that Ashraf has accepted further resignations and forwarded them to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). However, there is no official confirmation on the matter. Staff RepoRt meeting of the foreign ministers will be held in the Indian city of Goa in May this year whereas, the SCO’s meeting of the chief justices will be held in the month of March this year.

Pakistan has not yet responded to both the invitations. The decision regarding participation in the meeting to be held in India will be taken after consultation with all the stakeholders, the official sources said.
Zardari ChallEngEs ParK lanE rEfErEnCE: Meanwhile, PPP Co-Chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari challenged the Park Lane reference under the amended NAB law.
An application filed by PPP Cochairman in an accountability court in Islamabad said that the court had no jurisdiction to hear the reference. So the court should send the reference back to NAB or exonerate him, he prayed the court.
Asif Zardari has already got relief from accountability courts in Thatta Water Supply and Rs8 billion transaction references.
In Mega Money Laundering reference case, the court had reserved judgement on Asif Zardari’s request for relief.
