Their house is the most popular one on the street. The family could take any everyday situation and turn it into a fun celebration. One spring holiday in the yard out front, neighborhood kids ran around on a hunt.

What they were looking for Larry couldn’t say, so he busied himself and stayed out of their way. The sun was shining, and the sky was bright blue. Larry had no trouble finding something to do.

His wanderings led to a curious sight, a flower that was round and fuzzy and white. He poked with his nose and was suddenly aware that the thing pu ed apart and flew into the air!

That’s when he noticed there were more than one. He ran and jumped. Popping them was SO much fun!

Until he poked one that didn’t pop at all. It just stayed in one piece as a fuzzy ball.

He realized his little game had come to an end. This was the tail of a colorful animal friend.

The creature seemed busy, involved in some chore. Was he hiding what the kids were searching for? Without warning he hopped through a hole in the fence. Larry followed and hoped his decision made sense.

And so began the adventure for our little pup. This guy hopped so fast it was hard to keep up!
Larry saw flowers of all sizes in his favorite hues. There were yellows, pinks, purples, and oranges and blues.

At one patch Larry watched a whole bunch of bees. He’d never seen bugs work as hard as these. They kept busy moving a special dust of some kind. But Larry had to get going! He was falling behind!

He caught up to his leader who was energetic and cute. All around them were trees bearing familiar fruit. They were cherries showing many shades of red. Larry made sure ones falling didn’t land on his head.
