6m FROM TRACK EDGE

Welcome

The Casterton Sporting Motorcycle Club and the greater Casterton community would like to welcome riders, officials, families and spectators to rounds 7 and 8 of the Finance My Bike Victorian Offroad Championships and Yamaha Australian Enduro championship.

As a club we have invested many hours & expenditure into putting together facilities that we hope will ensure that you will have a great weekend on and off the track.

We cannot express enough thanks to our volunteers and sponsors who make this all possible and urge you all to keep these sponsors front of mind when making purchasing decisions in the future.

Special thanks go to our clubs’ major sponsors Limestone Coast Motorcycles and Mowers. Along with all our other sponsors we have been able to invest in infrastructure and entertainment for both our club ride days and this major event that makes them what they are now.

We would like to thank Jake Deagan and the VORC committee for giving us the opportunity to host another round of Australia’s premier off-road series again for 2025. This year we also welcome the Australian Enduro Championship for the first time. We hope both Motorcycling Australia and new riders enjoy our event and look forward to coming back in the future. Thanks goes to the Glenelg Shire for continuing to support ours and other great community events in our region.

If you have any questions CSMCC committee members will be wearing green vests all weekend and will be happy to help. The Committee love feedback whether it be good or bad so we can continue to grow the event and give riders and spectators what they want.

We hope you all have a safe and enjoyable weekend at our event and enjoy all that the Casterton community and region has to offer, and we look forward to seeing you all again in 2026.

Regards

Welcome

Motorcycling Australia is pleased to welcome Rounds 7 and 8 of the 2025 Yamaha Australian Enduro Championship presented by MXstore, proudly hosted in conjunction with the Victorian Off-Road Championship (VORC) state rounds here in Casterton, Victoria.

It is set to be a thrilling weekend, and we are excited to come together to witness an action-packed weekend of elite off-road racing where the nation’s best riders can showcase their skills, endurance, and sportsmanship by taking on this challenging and dynamic terrain here at the Boonaroo Vic Off-road Track.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Casterton Sporting Motorcycle Club for their outstanding efforts in hosting this event—their commitment, hard work, and local knowledge have been instrumental in bringing this round to life. Additionally, we would like to thank all associated sponsors, volunteers, and the local community for their incredible support, and we wish all competitors a safe and successful weekend of racing.

Many Thanks,

RAFFLE

The Casterton Sporting Motorcycle Club is thrilled to announce our raffle as part of the Victorian Off Road Championship and Australian Enduro Championships weekend!

A huge thank you to our long-time sponsor, Dan Kitto from Limestone Coast Motorcycles, Naracoorte, has once again generously donated our major prize — a Yamaha TTR110.

Tickets are just $5 each and will be available for purchase near the Food Court throughout the event. Don’t miss your chance to win and support the club that keeps the throttle wide open!

Trophy

In 1941 the Casterton Boy Scouts marked out and carved a large Fleur-deLis emblem into the hillside (known as Blueberry Hill) overlooking the town. Pictured right >

It was carved into the hill to celebrate the opening of the new Scout Hall. The emblem, with a circumference of 91 metres, was originally illuminated using oil soaked rags in tins, a tradition that was later replaced with electric lighting.

The Fleur-de-Lis or Scout Emblem as it is known to the locals is a popular landmark and photo spot.

It is also the location of Casterton Sporting Motorcycle Club's "Boss of Blueberry" Hill Climb which you may be amongst some winners competing here today.

Our trophy for the outright winner this weekend has been handcrafted by one of our very talented committee members and has been designed around this local landmark.

It's sure to be the trophy everyone will want to win and no doubt will be highly contested.

Goodluck to everyone.

Thankyou very much to Shane, Jodie, Tom & Claire Foster for the use of this amazing property. We are very fortunate that the Foster family are very involved with our club and appreciate their generosity in allowing us to use the property and the many hours of work they put in to provide us with this great track. Please respect the land by putting rubbish in the bins provided or taking it with you. Fires are permitted and there is plenty of free firewood available for the weekend, please see map attached.

THE EVENT

Cross Country (Saturday)

Cross Country events will be conducted on a 15-30 minute marked course where competitors are required to race continuously for a maximum of 3 hours for Pro’s and 2 hours for Clubman, women and juniors. Riders start as a class, each class separated by one minute intervals. A designated refuelling area is available in the pits and all refuelling and mechanical work is carried out in this area. Juniors compete at different times and the length of their competition will also vary. To be a finisher a competitor must have completed at least 75% of the laps of the winning rider in their class. The Cross Country format rewards riders for consistency and endurance.

Sprint Format (Sunday)

A sprint is run on the format of an Enduro special test. Riders complete as many heats of the course as indicated in the final instructions (or at the discretion of the Clerk of Course). There will be an escorted sighting lap of the course prior to the commencement of the event. Times will be cumulative: the rider with the least accumulated time for each class will be the winner and so on. Start order will be seeded by the event marshals on the day with the order starting from the quickest rider.
