Welcome

The Casterton Sporting Motorcycle Club welcomes all competitors and spectators to the 2024 Limestone Coast Motorcycles Boss of Blueberry Hill Climb.

First of all, a huge thankyou goes out to Daniel Kitto and his team at Limestone Coast Motorcycles and Small Engines for their huge support in coming on board again as naming rights sponsor for 2024. Through their, and the many other sponsors that you will see have supported this event, we have been able to raise the total prize money for the event to $6500, with a massive $3000 going to the ‘Boss of Blueberry Hill’. A big thank you also goes out to BRANDT for coming on board as major sponsor of the event and all our amazing sponsors that support us throughout the year.

This year will see the opportunity for 100 riders on race, vintage, and ag bikes take on the famous Blueberry Hill. A big thankyou also goes out to the Glenelg Shire Council, the Grigg family for making it possible to run the event on this iconic hill. Thanks also goes out to all the caterers and volunteer groups for your help in making this an enjoyable and safe event.

2023 saw Sam Pretscherer be the quickest rider up the hill in the Limestone Coasts Top 10 Shoot Out and claim the $3000 winners’ cheque. The Top Ten will be decided by the 10 quickest riders over the hill in their first two rounds.

There will be a short interval at the completion of the first 2 rounds while the top 10 is worked out and those riders draw out their race order for the top 10 shootout. The quickest rider over the hill in the top 10 shootout will take home the Limestone Coast Motorcycles Boss of Blueberry hill crown, $3000 winners cheque and trophy.

Once again we will have the Screenshots Big screen front and centre to keep you up to date with the live timing results and replay all the day’s action, this is made possible by the wonderful support of the Coleraine & District Community Bank, who have not only thrown huge support behind our event but also support so many other events and clubs throughout the district.

The Big Screen will enable us to replay all the action of the event and livestream it to the world.

All presentations will take place at the completion of the top 10 shootout. Through the generosity of the Albion Hotel in Casterton, the Casterton Distillery, Casterton Ag, Casterton Farm Supplies & Limestone Coast Motorcycles /Bushranger power equipment & Western Pizza have all donated the lucky gate prizes that you will have all received a ticket in upon entry, will be drawn immediately after the presentations. At presentations, with thanks to Monza Imports and Mitas Tyres we will also draw out three lucky winners from the first 60 entries in the Hill Climb who will each win a set of Mitas motorbike tyres. To be a winner of both draws, you must be in attendance at the presentations.

Finally, thanks again to all our sponsors and make sure you get to check out our major sponsors, Limestone Coast Motorcycles display inside the pit entrance.

To all spectators, enjoy an action-packed day, good luck to all competitors and thank you all for being part of the 2024 Limestone Coast Motorcycles Boss of Blueberry Hill Climb.
