The Hamilton P&A Society and Wool Handling Convenors welcome you to the 2023 Proway Wool Handling Competition at Sheepvention held on Sunday 6th and Monday 7th August, 2023.

This year our Proway Wool Handling Competition will take place on Sunday 6th August, 2023 in the north end of the Innovations Hub. Monday 7th August, 2023 will be an interactive demonstration day encouraging novice participants to join in and learn about this great industry.

PROWAY WOOL HANDLING COMPETITION SCHEDULE SUNDAY 6TH AUGUST, 2023 9.00am Registrations Open / Judges Brief 9.30am Competition Begins To be judged in the following order, times dependent on the number of entries Phillips Farm Machinery - Novice Class Phillips Farm Machinery - Senior Class Phillips Farm Machinery - Open Class Finals - to be judged late afternoon with awards presentation to follow Monday 7th August, 2023 RIST & Shearer Wool Handling Training – Demonstration Day an interactive demonstration day encouraging new and novice participants to join in and learn about this great industry.
