Healing happens in more than just patient rooms— it’s in the spaces where families gather, where staff recharge, and where thoughtful design enhances the entire experience.
Top-notch care and moments of wonder
Inviting, innovative, and interactive children’s healthcare facilities are a Page specialty. We create modern, eyecatching hospitals from coast to coast that support the best pediatric care available—then fill them with unexpected moments of wonder and discovery.
Patient rooms, even in the pediatric ICU, prioritize family presence and comfort without sacrificing flow and efficiency. Plentiful break areas with amenities like green views, large windows, and rehydration stations allow for staff rejuvenation. We invest in futures by thinking green, from building materials to bioswales to terrace gardens. And we partner with pediatricians to run procedure simulations before final construction, increasing efficiency through design while saving money.

Color isn’t just decoration; it’s a guide, a mood booster, and a source of wonder for young patients and families.
A Warm Welcome and a Clear Path Forward
Warm wood panels rise up walls and wrap onto ceilings, like a tree canopy, guiding patients and visitors throughout the building. The entry walls of each clinic neighborhood are slightly canted and highlighted with a bright accent color to facilitate wayfinding.

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Arthur M. Blank Hospital
Designed to deliver leading-edge care for children today and for generations to come, the 19-story, 446-bed hospital provides comprehensive pediatric specialties and features Georgia's only dedicated level 1 pediatric trauma center.
Embracing the healing power of nature and respecting the environment, the master plan prioritized preserving land and green space on the 70-acre campus, resulting in over 20 acres of gardens and green space along with miles of walking trails connecting the buildings on campus and the community.
Lobby areas and waiting spaces are filled with natural daylight and connect to the gardens. The majority of the 446 patient rooms have sweeping views of Atlanta’s Downtown, Midtown, and Buckhead skylines, as well as the city’s beautiful tree canopy, earning the hospital its nickname, A City in a Forest.
Through its affiliation with Emory University and Morehouse School of Medicine, Children’s provides conference and simulation spaces. Innovative labs include a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) lab to advance innovative cellular therapies, the Marcus Center for Pediatric Cellular Therapy lab, and 3D printing labs to design lifesaving treatment options for patients.

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Center for Advanced Pediatrics
Inspired by Atlanta’s reputation as “a city in a forest,” the design of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s Center for Advanced Pediatrics amplifies natural elements to support children with complex medical issues’ healing.
The pediatric ambulatory care center brings specialists, modern technologies, and advanced research together for comprehensive outpatient pediatric care. Expansive windows offer ample daylight and garden views, while pops of color emphasize destinations and help families navigate between clinics. Petal-shaped elements appear throughout—from the shape of the architectural skylights to the light fixtures and the experiential graphics.
Page’s “Nurture through Nature” design approach blurs the lines between the outdoors and indoors, creating a playful, children-first atmosphere that sets the tone for this healing environment.
