FROM THE BLACK SCANDINAVIAN WINTER TO THE WHITE NORDIC NIGHTS OF SPRINGTIME. IN THIS ISSUE OF PAFMAGAZINE THE EDITORIALS MOVE FROM DARKNESS TO BRIGHTNESS. WE BEGIN WITH THE DARK BIBLICAL STORY ABOUT JEZEBEL, A PRINCESS, ASSOCIATED WITH FALSE PROPHETS AND IDENTIFIED IN THE HEBREW BOOK OF KINGS. IN SOME INTERPRETATIONS, HER DRESSING IN FINERY AND PUTTING ON MAKEUP BEFORE HER DEATH LED TO THE ASSOCIATION OF USE OF COSMETICS WITH “PAINTED WOMEN” OR PROSTITUTES.

Agent Provocateur – SS14 Press day Text Mia Schneider Photos by michaelhermansen.com As soon as you step in to the pink universe of Agent Provocateur, it is like your boring everyday life disappears and a whole new beautiful world appears in front of you. In this human-size dollhouse you get to embrace your inner goddess and become the woman you have always dreamed of! Whether you are going for a sweet, gentle girly girly in light colored lace, or a sexy vamp in black bondage, Agent provocateur has the right lingerie for the woman inside of you! The brand was founded in 1994 by the son of British designer Vivienne Westwood, Joseph Corré and his now ex-wife Serena Rees. After the divorce in 2007, the company was bought by Garry Hogarth, the current CEO. Agent Provocateur is the result of a vision to avoid the British prudery towards anything sexy, sleazy or smutty. The goal was to make high quality designer lingerie, that arouses, available for the consumer, and by doing so Rees and Corré went against the norm and took the market by storm. The brand has become a great success, not only for the amazing design, but also because of the unique way the brand has been established through creative communication. This has made Agent Provocateur the star on the Lingerie sky and put lingerie on the fashion map. The Agent Provocateur SS14 collection is no exception. It is sexy but still sophisticated. It is fun, but still sweet! The campaign “Behind closed doors!” showcasing a housewife doing her duty’s wearing sexy lingerie is fun and makes a perfect match for the beautiful collection. The campaign brings something playful and humorous to the sexy brand and illustrates, that you shouldn’t take things so seriously! Life is much more fun when you wear Agent Provocateur!

Designers’ Nest was created in 2003 as a professional and international platform for Nordic design graduates to show their talent. The Scandinavian design students were given a chance to show their collection at CPH Vision fashion fair, taking place during Copenhagen Fashion Week.

The first Designers’ Nest Award was presented in February 2005. Designers’ Nest aims to expose and promote up-and-coming Scandinavian designers to global buyers, designers, media and trendsetters who visit the biannual fashion fair, thus consolidating and expanding Denmark’s status as a fashion and design nation.
