IIntroduction ntroduction

The Labour Party entered into office in 2024, following fourteen years of Conservative Failure. Since then, we have strived to provide our best for the people of this country - the people who placed their trust in the Labour Party.

Over the last five years, we have seen stable growth and low inflation. This is Labour’s Record. This stands in stark contrast to the record of what we inherited, with the previous government crashing the economy, leading to eye-watering inflation and a cost of living crisis that placed many of our most vulnerable into destitution.

We have seen an increase to living standards for those living within Britain, as well as the advancement of economic equality through the raising of the minimum wage, the abolition of tuition fees and the renationalisation of rail.

The Labour Party has overseen a period of reform and change within Britain. We have seen the lowering of the voting age to 16 in an effort to reduce disparity between age groups, and also to indicate the responsibility that many 16 year olds in this country take on - working hard to secure a future tor themselves, their families and their younger siblings.

Ultimately, things have only gotten better over the last 5 years. We’d like your help to make sure that this continues for five more, and we can finish our decade of National Renewal.

Education, Education, Education, Education, EEducation ducation

Encouraging more Teachers

The Labour Party see the benefits of small classes taught by enthusiastic and competent teachers, and therefore in order to help make British education the best it can be we will be raising the starting salary for teachers from £30,000 to £35,000 to encourage a larger number of competent young people to enter the profession.

Furthermore, the pay will be linked to inflation to ensure that teachers are not left behind, and that the drain of teachers out of the profession and to other professions is prevented

Shrinking the Class Sizes

Due to the previous policies concerning teachers, we believe we would have an even greater pool of talent within the profession, and therefore we believe that the country would be able to aim for an initiative of no classroom having more than 25 students.

This would be a decrease from an average 27 nowadays, and 29 under Tory austerityhelping to lower regional educational inequality and enhancing future opportunities for British students, and thusly Britain itself.

Improving School Resources

Children cannot learn without the proper equipment, and thanks to years of previous Tory cuts many schools have had to sacrifice many necessary pieces of teaching equipment - particularly those related to science.

Therefore, a Labour Government will invest in rolling out new equipment up and down the country, helping children to develop their knowledge and encouraging them to embark on careers in STEM, while also ensuring that Britons are able to adapt to new technology in the future

Increasing the Education Budget

Decades of Tory Austerity have left many of Britain’s schools crumbling, quite literally A Labour Government knows that education is a vital part of our country’s future, with it helping to ensure our prosperity long after any parliamentary term ends. Thusly, Britain will invest an extra £10 billion into education by 2033. We hope to achieve renovations to the crumbling infrastructure, the building of state of the art classrooms, and the training of new teachers

National Security: At National Security: At Home Home

A Capable Fighting Force

The British Army is the best trained, most capable and best-humoured army in the world, regardless of what the Reform Party says and despite how much the Tories have cut for the sake of short term austerity

Labour wish to strengthen this reputation through introducing reforms at a structural, doctrinal and equipment based level that aims to have the British Army able to have the Union Jack raised at any point in the world within 24 hours

Be it defending democracy or protecting our values - we will be ready

The Communications Advantage

One of the most vital parts of any modern military is coordination Coordination is a large reason for the success of Britain’s victories, such as the Falklands, while it explains foreign failures such as Russia in Ukraine

In order to prevent Britain facing similar issues, while also aiding Britain’s ability to counter global threats, we would establish a new British Military Satellite Network that could be shared with our allies, without relying on them,

Martyn’s Law

Despite the best efforts of our Intelligence Services and Armed Forces, several threats have historically slipped through the cracks of our security and inflicted horrific attacks onto British civilians

It is for this reason that the next Labour Government would like to enact “Martyn’s Law”. This law would require event venues to take the necessary measures to ensure public safety. While this would depend on the size of the venue, an example would be the training of staff in first aid and evacuation techniques. With these measures, we can help to ensure the public’s safety

Protecting our Legacy

Over the years, many historic units of the British Army have been disbanded or amalgamated, destroying the remnants of their legacies,.

In order to prevent this, Labour will form a “Historic Regiment” category of regimentspreventing their disbandment, renaming or amalgamation This category would apply to Guards Regiments, such as the Coldstream Guards, but also units with historic legacies such as the Carabiniers and Greys and the Fusilier Regiment

Labour’s Plan for Labour’s Plan for JJustice ustice

Increase Investment into Law Enforcement

Here in Labour, we believe that when you work hard and put in a days effort, nobody should be able to illegally seize the sweat from their brow.

Labour would boost funding to our brave law enforcement personnel in order to help to reduce crime and improve social order.

Furthermore, Labour would increase resource allocation to training for programs such as de-escalation of violent situations and mental health support.

Solving Prison Overcrowding

The prisons are full This is a basic fact of life in Britain nowadays due to decades of tory funding cuts, prison closures and the increasing crime rate under the Austerity Governments

Labour would build eight new prisons across England (In Henley, Guildford, Eastborne, and many more) and 2 in Scotland (Inverness and Ayr)

Improving rehabilitation

British prisons serve three primary purposes. The first is to serve as a punishment for crimes committed, this is something they do well The second is to remove individuals from society, this too they succeed at

The third aspect is to rehabilitate prisoners, to ensure that they do not reoffend. This is something that many fail at, with a reoffending rate of 30% many return to prison

Labour would crack down on reoffending rates by increasing rehabilitation - ensuring prisoners leave with the necessary skills

Reducing Anti-Social Behaviour

Anti-Social behaviour is bad for all. It hurts the victim as they often feel frightened or intimidated, it hurts the offender, as they then are often slapped with extra punishments and have their futures harmed

Labour would cut down on Anti-Social behaviour by augmenting more policing in residential areas, and launching new educational initiatives.

Protecting Our NHS Protecting Our NHS

Revitalising Emergency Departments

We pledge to ensure our Emergency Departments are equipped to provide efficient and compassionate care to all Under the Tories, we saw unacceptable increases in wait times. While Labour have since reduced these massively, we would like to begin a new effort to improve staffing levels.

Not only would this increase the amount of attention patients receive, but it would also reduce the length of time they have to wait before being able to see a patient or doctor, while also reducing burnout and hours worked among medical staff

Modernising Our Ambulances

Labour will improve our ambulance and paramedic teams to ensure that the NHS can provide rapid-response, high quality care in emergency cases To do this, we are to increase funding for every hospitals ambulance team

We will also replace most driving roles taken on by ambulance care assistants with Patient Transport Service Drivers, to place these qualified professionals in care focused roles

Improving Mental Health Care

We understand that to many, Mental Health is just as vital as physical health Therefore, we will significantly increase access to mental health resources for anyone 12 or above

We will also begin to integrate mental health facilities into a primary care setting, in order to allow for people in more rural areas to access mental health care without a trip to the city

These steps will likely be able to pay for themselves, by reducing misdiagnoses and thusly improper treatment

Empowering Healthcare Staff

Many NHS staff do not get the respect t hat they deserve They are the backbone of our health service, and thusly, our populations wellbeing

Labour will introduce a comprehensive array of new benefits for NHS staff, and ensure that all nurses, doctors and support staff have round-the-clock access to mental health support should they require it.

Travelling Around the Travelling Around the Country Country

Improving the Railways

Now that our railway services are back under public ownership, we can begin a much more detailed improvement scheme across England

Labour will speed up the electrification process, which will create thousands of extra jobs. Primarily focusing on the North West of England (Teesside and Newcastle), under a Labour government we will ensure the region gets the infrastructure it deserves, and use it as a model for expanding stateled rail electrification projects to other parts of the country

A more streamlined timetable

Due to the previous privatisation policies, many regions have a disjointed timetable that leads to two trains passing through within 10 minutes, but then no other services for 50 minutes

Rather than putting profit before people as the Conservatives do, we would put people before profit and work with Scotrail and Transport for Wales to ensure that timetables across the nation are improved

Reviewing Congestion Charges

Many authorities around the country have enacted a congestion charge within towns and cities that apply to everyday people.

Labour would launch a review of these policies, and establish a report onto the effectiveness and fairness of these qualities

Depending on the findings of this review, Labour would attempt to negotiate with local councils in order to deliver an outcome that is more effective and works in the best interests of everyone, rather than restricting driving only to the wealthy

Restricting Private Jets

Private jets are pollutive to the environment. They clog Britain’s airspace and create a large bureaucratic weight to the state by necessitating their tracking for safety reasons

Therefore, Labour would introduce a ban on short private jet flights that contain less than 5 passengers. A private jet must be travelling at least 120 miles or carrying at least five passengers in order to be able to take off.

Securing Lower Securing Lower Energy Bills Energy Bills

Transforming GB Energy

At the beginning of the last parliament, the Labour party introduced GB Energy A UK owned company to attempt to play the energy market in the UK for the sake of benefitting consumers

This has been effective, with the average household energy bill decreasing. However, Labour would not unleash GB energy to be a full player on the energy market - and even allow for them to begin producing their own energy, to be sold to both consumers and other energy companies.

Making Energy Work for YOU

In previous years, energy companies have seen record profits and paying out millions in dividends to shareholders, while passing on the cost of these payments to consumers in the form of exorbitant household bills

Labour will introduce new regulations, ensuring that energy companies may not pay dividends unless their average energy sales are at least 10% under the energy price cap

Developing Hydro-power

Britain stands in a unique position,. We have the geography to become an energy producer in similar scale to countries like the United States and Saudi Arabia, with one major difference - we could be green

Britain has the potential to generate large amounts of hydro-power based electricity through the establishment of many new plants This will not only create jobs and open new avenues for export, but will also reduce the costs of energy in the UK - helping both industry and the average households monthly budget!

Labour - Securing the Labour - Securing the World World

Honouring our obligations

The Labour Party has and always will be committed to our wide array of international obligations. This will not change.

With a Labour Government, we will continue with these obligations; allowing us to keep hold of our very unique position within the International Stage. The Labour Party is committed to staying within the European Convention of Human Rights, an organisation formed from the ashes of World War Two that allows us to make sure this never happens again. The line is clear with Labour.

Assisting Ukraine

Labour are committed to the belief that we should be helping our allies, with whatever support we can.

This is why the Labour Party is committed to ensuring that we increase the diplomatic support to our Ukrainian friends as they continue in their fight against oppression and extremism We will seek further sanctions on Russia and those supporting the Russian war machine, and will make sure that Ukraine is successful in their fight against the very same ideals that threaten

Reaching Peace in Gaza

The situation in Gaza has escalated far out of control, with tens of thousands of deaths between both side.

Labour will use our diplomatic clout and ever warming ties to Palestine to moderate a 5 point peace plan to the Israel-Gaza War, leaving an independent Palestinian State in control 0f the strip, free from the influence of both Hamas and Israel

Labour will also work to strengthen the ability and powers of the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank

Expanding Commonwealth Ties

The British Empire has had a lasting effect on the world, on our culture and on diplomacy Nowhere is this more apparent than our cultural links to other CANZUK Nations

Labour would attempt to grow our ties to Canada, Australia and New Zealand and attempt to secure a deal guaranteeing free trade and free movement between our culturally and economically similar states.

Growing Britain’s Growing Britain’s Wealth Wealth

Introduction

LABOUR:APARTYTHATCARES

Britain underwent a period of intense deindustrialization in recent years, with the Conservatives and the Rise of Thatcherism largely to blame. Successive Labour manifestos have outlined plans to reverse the situation by implementing policies aimed at reshaping our industrial and manufacturing capacity in order to compete with other industrial hubs such as France, the US and China. This time though, we champion a comprehensive plan that will revolutionize the British economy, combat employment and underemployment (especially in the North, Midlands, Scotland and Wales) and make Britain a leading industrial power.

National Industries

Britain has potential to antagonize more well-established manufacturing powers if Parliament fully grasps the extension of our capabilities as a nation. The Labour Party vows to establish the National Industrial Commission (chaired by the Minister) that will oversee the creation of factories and manufacturing units across Britain, focusing on areas with high unemployment rate. Britain must regain its sovereignty in production and distribution. These industries will be state-run and trade unions will have a saying in the management, not only of the workplace but also of strategy, whilst retaining a basic workplace hierarchy that will ensure the factories’ smooth operation. Trade Union representatives will also have a seat in the National Industrial Commission. The main industrial areas our industries will focus for now, will be electronics, automobiles, high-tech and green technology.

Trade and Domestic Production

The Labour Party remains committed to the abundance free trade has offered us, but we also recognize that sometimes that abundance jeopardizes the security and welfare of domestic industries and businesses. Our present manifesto realigns with our previous commitments of safeguarding British businesses from foreign corporate harm while respecting our open trade relations with our partners in Europe and around the globe. Any measures we take will be to protect the interests of not only British Industries but also the interests of the British people. Britain must not dream of a splendid isolation but instead cherish the ideas of economic sovereignty within a sentiment of cooperation and prosperity.

Growing Britain’s Growing Britain’s Wealth Wealth

British Businesses First

The Free Market has been beneficial for a small elite that has invested in multinational companies whose production, distribution and research is most of the times outside of the UK, they don’t employ British people and pay no taxes to the British State. The Labour Party vows to put British Businesses first. But we must define British Businesses. British Businesses are the businesses that majority of their employees are British, their production and distribution centres are located in the British Isles and pay their taxes to the British State. Most of the companies that style themselves as British violate most of these principles and their only interest remains profiteering of cheap labour in developing countries, tax heavens and a form of crony capitalism that has prevailed in the West. A future Labour government will ensure that British Businesses come first and that multinational corporations will have to pay their taxes to the British State, abide by the laws and regulations of Parliament and respect the traditions and customs of the United Kingdom. British Businesses will enjoy a special business environment, one that will ensure growth, innovation and the employment of British citizens!

Competition

The Labour Party wants to encourage entrepreneurship, innovation and prosperity within the context of a free market. The free market the Labour Party envisions is one that allows all businesses to grow, and contrary to the dominant economist belief who sees the free market as a jungle applying Darwinian characteristics to the people’s livelihoods, the Labour Party believes in competition Modern liberal economists favour domination The brutality of their approach is to appease the thirst, lust and ambition of certain shady business interests to the detriment of smaller companies and enterprises. But Labour rejects that vile doctrine and spearheads a campaign focusing on competition and equality of opportunity, not inequality or equality of outcome. A free economy can only remain free, if the people’s feel that they have the means and opportunity to start a business and have prospects of becoming successful To achieve that Labour will write more competition laws, a Fair Deal that will ensure employment, prosperity and accountability, safeguard the property of the British people and ensure a future for young businessmen.

Helping Small Businesses

The state of our High Streets remains abysmal with multinational corporations constructing shopping malls and thus undermining the labour and sacrifices of small business owners Supermarkets are exploiting producers; chains are exploiting workers and family businesses suffer. The Labour Party seeks to reverse the depravation high streets have been forced to enter after decades of neoliberal rule and revive a more humane form of transactions and shopping turning the British people from mindless consumers to individuals who comprehend the importance of quality over quantity, the reverence of supporting your local businesses and producers and consciously elect to purchase from our local High Street rather than the shopping mall In order to achieve that though the government must help High Streets and family businesses by providing subsidies, tax cuts and other forms of deregulation that will help these businesses become more competitive and survive the antagonistic environment free market fundamentalists have established to safeguard corporate interests. Small artisan shops (woodworkers, tailors, shoemakers) and businesses (Butchers, bakers etc) have suffered the government’s negligence for far too long This Labour Party must stand with family businesses, local producers and the people against an Iron Economic Oligarchy that seeks to destroy any bonds communities have and replace them with chains.

Britain in a Digital Age Britain in a Digital Age

Improving the Railways

The Labour Party believes that arts, culture and sports must be accessible to everyone = regardless of their socioeconomic background

Our further development of Britain’s impressive creative industries will open more avenues for people to express their creativity and contains a large growth potential for the economy Labour will support the engagement of our youth with the arts, music and sports while promoting the creation of more jobs in the creative fields

Helping local cultures

Labour as a party are committed to improving access to cultural assets for local communities across by expanding the grants given to locally significant museums and galleries, particularly for towns with populations under 100,000 that have a struggling local museum

Labour believe every town and city has a unique identity, and that this should be protected

Cracking Down on Scalping

Labour understands that ticket scalping creates unfair barriers for people who want to access music and sports events - forcing parents and fans to fork out several times the price of a ticket to make it to an event This money does not even make it to the artists, with it instead often going to foreign criminals.

.This is why Labour will be introducing new consumer protections on ticket resales to curb the practice of ticket scalping, and cracking down on bots

Protecting Football Clubs

We understand how important football clubs are to towns and communities, and we are committed to ensuring that our football clubs are protected

At Labour, we believe that the fans deserve a say in the way the clubs they support are run Labour will introduce a Football Governance Bill to establish an independent regulator for football clubs in England to ensure the fans have a say
